Step 2 of the diagnosis. If the latch does not remain closed, inspect the
mating surfaces of the latch and keeper. If the latch and keeper are parallel,
perform service repair A, the proceed to Step 2 of the diagnosis. If the
latch and keeper are not parallel, perform Repair Procedure B.
-
Attempt to open the rear sliding window. If the window is difficult to
open or will not open, perform Repair Procedure C. If the window opens
properly, proceed to Step 3 of diagnosis.

Notes:
Policy: Reimbursable within the provisions of the
warranty
From Bob Bergevin: An aside to the window problems-several dealers use independent
glass shops to do their warranty window work. If the replaced window is
not CC parts or considered to be CC equal by CC, any further warranty
service will not be performed on that glass. We had an incident of a customer
who had a replacement made of a leaking windshield by an independent shop in
Toronto, billed CC and used a low-grade window that continued to leak. It was
clear to our independent shop that it was not a CC or equal part and therefore
not billable to CC through us. The customer had to pay for the CC part
to be installed. BEWARE!!
Thanks to Bob Bergevin for providing this TSB information
