Intake Air Inlet Tube Rattle

NOTE: THIS BULIETIN APPLIES TO VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 3.9L, 5.2L AND 5.9L GASOLINE ENGINES

Symptom/Condition:

 Rattle, which sounds like it is coming from the right side of the instrument panel during tip in acceleration or at the shift points.

Diagnosis:

Road test the vehicle. If the rattle noise is present, inspect the air inlet tube (see illustration). If the tube is loose at the fender end, perform the repair procedure.

Parts Required:

1    53030304    air Inlet Tube

Repair Procedure:

This bulletin involves installing a revised air inlet tube.

Remove the air inlet tube and install P/N 53030304.

Policy: Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
