Symptom/Condition:
Horn may sound weak or have an unpleasant tone on vehicles equipped with a single note horn.
Diagnosis:
Inspect the vehicle when loaded. If the vehicle is low in the rear, perform the repair procedure.

Repair Procedure:
This bulletin involves upgrading a single note horn system to a dual note system.
Ram Truck
1. Remove the existing horn and remove the screw from the hole in the bracket.
2. Install both horns with the brackets aligned opposing each other (the high note horn on the bottom) and tighten the screw.
Cherokee
The low note horn is located on the drivers side of the vehicle beneath the headlight. Locate the mounting bolt hole for the high note horn on the passenger side in the same general area as the low note horn. Install the horn and tighten the bolt to 21 Ft. lbs.
