I had purchased a Toyota Corolla from them a few years back which was a pretty good car. Having some credit issues of late I contacted them again knowing about the "Fresh Start" program. Going down we were told we weren't buying a car... we were buying a program. The cars were all quotes as double the Kelly BB Value and the excuse was the purchase of the program to fix your credit. So exactly what are they selling? Cars, or a bribe to report on your credit twice a month that you make payments. The cars shown were all in poor condition and extremely over priced.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! Avoid at all cost! I bought a used 1998 Chevy Blazer. The engine blew 1 month after I had it. They replaced the engine with NO, I repeat NO gaskets!!!! ya a few oil leaks. They also put the old belt on which caused the alternator to burn out! They tried charging me for their mistake!? ya right. They had my car for 6 months until it SEEMED to be working right except for a small noise. That small noise was because the engine was installed incorrectly and was causing stress on the crankshaft. IT BROKE. My mechanic who my family has trusted for 30 years had NEVER seen a crankshaft break. Well he put a new engine in and it works great! Now there is a huge oil leak coming from the oil cooler lines that were not replaced correctly also by the dealer. All this time menlove has hassled me and tried to blame all of this on me. My lawyer is having the time of his life dealing with this case. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. YOU WILL GET IT!!!
Not a Ram its a chevy blazer from fresh start. I love Dodge vehicles and would buy one in a second. Just not from them

I came in looking for a Dodge Grand Caravan. I ended up looking at a Toyota Sienna. Quieter, better mileage, warranty etc. My salesperson was extremely knowledgeable about both brands, which was unusual. So many other sales people that I have met, barely know the difference between a dipstick and a doorjamb, but this guy knew all the interesting aspects of both products. Since taking delivery of my van, I've since measured my fuel economy and I'm getting 30 mpg. I love my van! Thanks Menlove, from the sales guys, to the desk managers, to the finance manager, they all treated me like an equal! 5 star for sure!

I am looking at buying a new Dodge heavy duty truck. Menlove has quite a selection, so I decided to speak to a salesman. I was trading in a vehicle, however they would not separate the trade from the new vehicle and would not give me the final cost of the new truck. I was hesitant to proceed and they decided to double team me with a high pressure "sales manager". I told them that I needed to have a bottom line cost because I was pre-approved through my credit union, all I needed was a vehicle description and price and I could have a check in an hour. They lied and told me that it was state law that I fill out their credit application. I have seen warnings about this and decided to get out. Menlove will tell you whatever they can to sell you a car and they will pressure you incredibly -- avoid them. I was able to find a much better dealer that was just a short drive away.

They use high pressure tactics. If you hesitate, they will bring in another salesman to apply more pressure. If you still tell them you don't want the deal, they become insulting. With my deal on an 03 Dodge, they had a truck with options that I did not want and the truck did not have options I wanted. The truck would have to be brought from Wyoming and I would have to put a deposit down and buy the truck for them to bring it in. I told them no, and they said I was stupid to pay more for a truck at Quality, though that truck had what I wanted!!!
I did buy a Toyota Camry from them in Jan 03, a very stressful deal, with same pressure tactics. After about 6 hours, they did wear me down and I made the trade. Sorry since. Service department very slow on oil change and charged $25.00 to rotate tires. Extremely disorganized and discourteous service department.

I bought a car from Menlove through the Fresh Start Program. None of the used cars had a price tag on them!! I asked the Sales person and they said they had them memorized by code. I was never given a definite price. I was hamstrung because A) my car was dead and B) I had bad credit. This place threw me through the song and dance and ended up giving me a "Great Deal" at 17.99% They also told me the financing company "required extended bumper to bumper warranty" which they added for an additional $1,500. They told me they paid for it by taking the $1,500 off the price. BS!!! I read the paperwork when I was at home and they were out of my head and I PAID FOR IT. THEY FLAT OUT LIED!!! I also noticed when I got home that all four tires were different treads!! Maybe that is why they kept me waiting another almost hour after everything was "done" I paid a "sticker price" of $17,100 for a 2003 SE Dodge Intrepid. I priced the car using the VIN and found it to be MSRP for EXCELLENT shape at only $14,000 !!!! THIEVES that take advantage of those with bad credit!! DO NOT BUY HERE Just because I was stupid and a sucker doesn't mean you have to be !!!
The car seems to run great after 3 days, but who knows what else they changed before handing the car over...

Trying to buy a 04 or 04.5 dodge pickup, found a truck, window sticker and parts listed did not match. (wheels) Salesman claimed they were the correct wheel, Had to PROVE to him that they were not as described (not knowledgeable about product). already had left deposit,(I thought to hold truck) while there discussing the situation, the truck drive off for detail TO NEW OWNER. As usual they have an answer. While talking an looking at a 04.5 600 THIS GUY LOST. Turned on his heel, said he was done at the top of his voice and went into the office. You do not treat a customer this way, in front of other customer on the lot.
from this experience they can go to ---- you know where. All they were interested in was how much a month i could afford, would not divulge a price for said vehicle that i was going to have to pay. would i try them again? think again. Not happy experience.

I just bought a vehicle there. I have to agree with the second customer on this list. You tell them the price range you want and CAN DO, but they just keep egging and pulling little stunts. I have bad credit and I wanted to get a vehicle under my own name and not have to use my parents to co-sign. I figured FRESH START Program was a excellent program that Menlove is offering. I was excited when they told me that a bank had approved me and this is what I have to put down and the payment range it will be in. The price of the car was somewhat reasonable but the interest of 20% is really ridiculous! I'm going to have to pay for a vehicle that only costs 8-12k and end up paying for a price of a SUV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Menlove isn't the only one that does this ALL CAR DEALERS DO THIS! It's like you can't trust anyone in the car dealership business! Everything they say is ALL LIES! How can they live with there selves knowing that they cheated and lied to a customer! It's just plain wrong! But, it's all good cause they will get theirs BUT TEN TIMES WORSE! Shame on you!!!!

They were polite and prompt in the service department. They added our accessories on our new vehicle while we waited. They were very accommodating in the customer service dept.

Our salesman was courteous and tried to accommodate our visit, but I was very disheartened by the "how much do you want to pay a month" dance. We were interested in "Fresh Start" which is a good program if offered in an informative way. We have credit problems, but we aren't stupid. The secret deity in the back room does not help us make an informed decision. By the time we got through with dropping the sale price to drop the monthly payment we would have ended up with a payment that would have matched a $17,000 car for 60 months at 20% interest on a $12,000 car. Let us repent for our credit blunders, but please don't ask us to drop em and bend over.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Avoid, Menlove treats you as incompetent customers. We were stranded at the side of the road and we called. They told us to come down (time was 5:45). By the time we got there it was 5 minutes after 6:00. They turned us away, and would do nothing for us. Every time we come down or call they act as if we are a bother and have no time for us. Sales and customer service needs serious improvement. We would never refer them or go to that dealership again. I hope in the future you would find more professional help in customer service. Thank you for your time signed an extremely unsatisfied customer.
