Let me start by saying that the experience I had with Don Davis in Arlington must have been far harder on them than it was on me.
To begin with, there were some errors in diagnosis and in the initial evaluation of my car's problem. Then, I was told some things had been done that hadn't been done, but when it was all said and done, the service advisor that I had (Terry) really stepped into the fray to handle things
correctly.
My car's problem stemmed from a prior accident, and Terry and his crew really stepped up to the plate to handle this correctly. They got to the root of the initial problems, apologized for all the misunderstandings and the initial problems, and credited the cost of almost $500 worth of service to me.
Then, they worked tirelessly with a not-too-terribly competent insurance appraiser to explain the nature of the problem that I had and how it related to the initial incident. They even brought in a Chrysler area rep to work with the insurance company to make sure that things were handled smoothly.
This could have been a terrible experience, but by taking the time to talk civilly with my SA and his manager (brought in at the request of the SA) it all worked out very, very well. I was really impressed with the way that they accepted responsibility for the mistakes that they did make.
This dealership really earned its five star rating in my opinion, and I wanted to be sure people knew there were good stories as well.
Thanks to Terry and everyone else who worked on the car. It runs better than ever.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Poor, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
The first time I took my 2003 PT Cruiser w/Turbo to Don Davis was 05/20/04. I told them it had been in an accident and had already had a bad experience with someone else on it. My insurance Company told me to go ahead and take it to Don Davis and they would pay for it. The problem was overheating of the engine. I just found out last Wednesday (08/04/04) that when they worked on it in May (had it 8 days) they sent the paperwork in as warranty work to Chrysler Motor Co. instead of to State Farm. Now that it is overheating again, they do not want to fix it because they said the problem of overheating is not the same part as before. Said a fuse was missing from under the hood and they are the last ones to work on it. They want to charge me $170 for a new fuse and $402.00 for a new A/C line and to add freon again. The car did not give me any warning that it was overheating until I saw smoke rolling from under the hood. so I sat by the side of the road from 4:20am - 7:30am until I could get a tow truck to pick me and the car up. I was fuming as much as the car was. Anyway, then I was told I had to pay for having it fixed. If they had used my insurance company in the beginning, this would have been covered for me. Since the ticket has been closed by the insurance company they will not reopen it because of what the dealership did. I have Lupus and have a limited amount of funds, but I will have to get it fixed, otherwise, I will not be able to go to work. I am a one car family and I have drove Chrysler/Dodge products since I was 16 and I am now 57 years old, this is the only dealership that has treated me this way. I hope others boycott their service department until they reorganize it. Whenever I buy another new car it will not be a Chrysler. I also called a local news station and they are going to investigate and televise the results in the DFW area. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest.

Service & Parts Dept. do not answer their telephones. Nor do they return your calls left on their voice mail.
I had to trailer my Dodge diesel from Raton, N. M. to Arlington, TX. Cost me $1800 & the truck is still in Don Davis repair shop. Have been waiting for a part for about a week.

******** WARNING ****** Poor Poor customer service. Never seen or heard of anything like it. Is the Chrysler name that bad, if not do they realize what some of these dealerships are giving to their name. It is very unfortunate that they are a very selfish and unpleasant dealership to deal with. They speak down to you and are rude and just down right ignorant. I don't know where to begin, but it actually involves my Fiance 2003 2500 Dodge Ram 4wd truck. I know he is going to also send his thoughts on this as well so please do read his story/complaint!!!! I've owned a Dodge myself before and never have I had such bad customer service...do they not understand if it weren't for us bringing the automobiles in for service they wouldn't have a job. We started our morning off like any other...on our way to work. Ended up while going from one interchange to another of highway the transmission locks up and stalls us in the middle of the ramp blocking all traffic. It's raining and we now are not going to make it for work. Frustrations right. Well the truck has to be towed to, of course, the closes Dodge dealership....Don Davis in Arlington, TX where we are faced w/ rudeness beyond belief. We get there and have no transportation back to work, etc....the drive train is covered under warranty, but because no extension of that was purchased they can not provide a rental. So in other words we were stuck, but oh they could call their good ole' buddies and Enterprise $$$$$$$$$$ Needless to say it was such a hassle and we were beyond aggravation and expressed that! The worst of all the big Mgr. (if you want to call him that), waits about 15 min. later after all was said and done and calls us in his office, we think to get an apology or help, but not he leads us in his office only to close the door and scold us for speaking out loud our comments where other customers can hear, besides the fact that I made a call on my cell phone to someone telling them they will not give us a ! loaner car only to know I'm being eves dropped on and being scolded about this in his office as well!! Excuse me but isn't this the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. We felt like we were in the principals office or being disciplined by a parent, meanwhile we are both grown adults in our 30's! What is that!!! It amazes me and infuriates me!!! I beg of you to pass this on and stay far far away from this rude dealership!!!! I know we were frustrated and people can put opinions in that state of mind, but we are now at work and things are okay as I'm typing this comment....calm. I thank the people who've created this site and I found it useful to see other poor comments as well at this dealership (not just us). THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Good luck and choose wisely who services your vehicle!!!!! Customer service and courtesy should always be first!!!! =)

Sales=Excellent, Service=Poor, Parts=Poor, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Yes,
I bought a 2001 Dodge 1500 from this dealership in October of 2001 and the price and the sales department were awesome. I knew that the deal was so good because they were going to sock it to me on the finance, but at the last second I told them that I would finance it through my bank, which is where I work. Loved the look on their faces, but if you can get them to put the final price on paper, then they are stuck with selling me the truck. I went back to the dealership for some free oil changes. Their service department closes at 7:00 PM and I took my truck in right at 6:00 PM for an oil change. I was told that after 5:30 PM, they only take vehicles to work on the next day and could not do my oil change that evening. I went in on a Saturday and got it done, but the service guy told me that I needed a rear differential service. At that time, the truck was only a couple of years old and had only 36,000 miles. I took the truck to my mechanic and he said that there is no way that truck needed that service now.
Good deal on the prices, but watch out with their service department. Get a second opinion if they tell you that you need other service on your vehicle.
