Contact was made through a employees buying program of the Boeing Co. All correspondence
was e-mail, phone, and fax. This started around 08/12/03. After options, color
and year where decided the sales person at Bledsoe said he located a truck and
it was waiting on me. I told the sales person to fax a sales contract to my
employees Credit Union with the vehicle VIN, make, and color on 08/19/03. After
several phone calls it was finally done on 08/26/03. I was to pick the truck
up on 08/30/03. Upon arriving at Bledsoe the morning of the 30th (10:30am) I
was told my truck was being detailed and cleaned. After being put off till 2:30pm
I was finally told they had a 04 truck for $3,500 more money or a 03 model with
less options than originally agreed for the same money in contract. Bait and
switch tactics?????? I left at 3:35 pm with money in hand and found another
dealer. I was very good that day, no one got hurt. Bledsoe Dodge of Dallas should
close their DOOR'S

Sales=Excellent, Service=Poor, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
I bought a vehicle and the sales rep was great. I met with the finance guy and
he and I talked over the terms of the agreement. He made notes on a piece of
paper separate from the agreement. He asked that I sign the agreement and he
would fill in the terms and I would have a copy when I picked up the vehicle
the following day. Then he said he was in a hurry to leave. The following day,
I picked up the vehicle and was told the finance guy was not there and they
would mail the contract. A month later, I still had not gotten the contract
so I called the dealership and expressed concern of no paperwork. I got a copy
of the finance agreement in the mail and the interest rate was almost double
what was quoted to me. I went to Daimler Chrysler and related the story to them
and they all but called me a liar. They would do nothing and so I was stuck
with a vehicle at 11% and I have a top FICO score and should have never had
to pay such an exorbitant rate.
Service sucks! I have stood in line before only to have service writers go around
me to wait on someone else that came in after me. I tried to get a few minor
items repaired and was unhappy with the service. Kept telling the dealer something
was wrong with the front end as a set of tires would only last 15K miles before
needing replacement. I was told it was due to soft rubber in the tires. Eventually,
after the second set of tires, I took it to another dealer who said the tie
rod and front assembly was defective and replaced these parts. It was a dangerous
item to go undetected. Thank goodness not all dealers are this way. (Ratings
and comments do not agree)

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid, bought there=No, scv_there=Yes,
Had my 96 Town and Country in for a recall. They said the air filter needed
changing charged $50. ok. Three months later I decide to check the filter....filter
costs $5 at Pep Boys....the rubber hoses that lead from the air filter to the
fuel injection are torn!!! The vent hose is torn. These guys tore up $155 worth
of heavy rubber fittings and didn't tell me as then they would have to let me
know their mechanic is incompetent!!

Sales=Fair, Service=Avoid, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
I purchased a used vehicle from the used car department, and two years later
I was involved in an auto accident. My insurance company referred me by to the
Bledsoe Dodge even though it was a Chevy. First incident: Car was promised to
me on Feb 25, did not receive vehicle until 2 weeks later. No problem, no body
perfect. Secondly, Chevy uses Dex-cool in the radiator and they replaced it
with the standard green fluid, green fluid is bad for a 99' Chevy, it can harm
the heads. Thirdly, I was told that my vehicle entered into the dealership with
green fluid. I had the green fluid replaced with the Dex-cool (Orange color),
and another shop charged me $70 to flush the system out and replace it with
the proper fluids, and I asked for a refund and I was told several times that
I would receive my $70, it has been 2 weeks since they promised me a refund.
I will try to spread this information about their body shop to anyone who will
listen.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=No,
Salesman was courteous but wanted to sell me stock rather than order what I
wanted. Salesman was not familiar with models or options. He kept referring
to Laramie model and Hemi model. They had no 4wd Ram 1500 Laramies in stock.
Did take test drive in Hemi SLT. Would not recommend this dealership as salesman
not familiar with models or options and only want to sell what is in stock rather
than order or search for truck you want.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know,
After talking to the internet sales person 1 time via e-mail and 2 times on
phone about beating another dealers price, I drove 100+ miles each way ,only
to find out that they flat out lied to me, and were trying to make me another
deal that was $3-4000 more. Then the salesman lied directly to my face, and
said that he knew for a fact there were no other dealers in the area that have
any 2002 Quad cabs in stock. I drove to Westloop Dodge in Ft Worth and found
a nicer 2002 Quad Cab truck for $5000 cheaper than Bledsoes price. STEER CLEAR
OF THIS PLACE!!!

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
I bought a 2001 Dodge Intrepid from another place and took it to this dealership
car service center since I assumed I would get a better and quality service.
The lady by the name Margaret Lockhart was the middle person between me and
the technical personnel. For my car's problem they charged me $539.72. I went
to the dealer and picked up my car but after driving about a mile I discovered
that the engine was overheating. I opened the hood and looked inside there was
no enough engine coolant because the coolant inside the overflow container was
bubbling. Bought $14 coolant from a Texaco and added, just to take it back to
the dealer shop. Besides, the dipstick for the engine oil was also lost. They
told me that the coolant added by them was not enough and that was the reason
for overheating, concerning the dipstick they blame me and asked me to pay extra
$5.60 ( six dollars won't tempt me to lie) to get another one. I just took my
car and left the place to never go back to that place again or advice people
to do the same thing. -
Please let them know that they have to make sure they put everything in place
before releasing it to the customer. In my case, this is not a place I can trust.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
Only went to Bledsoe once for an A/C vent problem. They completely misdiagnosed
it, took twice as long as they said for a wrong diagnosis, and quoted an obscene
amount to fix it. To top it off, they charged us $61 for the fraudulent diagnosis.
We then took it to Hooks Ford/Dodge in Granbury (where we bought it) and they
fixed the problem for a third of the cost in a timely and efficient manner.
Good job Hooks!...Avoid Bledsoe! They don't know anything about diesels or customers...

Sales=Poor, Service=Avoid,
Sales: Tried order a Dakota and they wanted me to put down a deposit and sign
before a final price had been negotiated. I insisted that the out the door price
be put in writing before I signed, they said they would get back to me, never
did. Service: Truck was making a grinding/groaning noise on low speed turns.
I took the service writer for a ride and easily replicated the problem. The
service writer confirmed that he did hear the noise. They keep my truck for
the day and I get a "unable to replicate problem" because the mechanic did not
hear it! I called them about having a mopar performance PCM flashed, the service
writer said that it would be at least $100. Went to another dealer and had it
done for under $40. These guys only want to help themselves to your wallet.
There are plenty of other dealers in the DFW area. Avoid these guys.
