Sales=Poor, Service=Fair, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
I went there looking for a specific car to be told that the salesman could not find what I was looking for.Only to find out on my own there were several in my local area. I was asked if I found the car myself then why did I go to them to begin with. I was looking for a dodge. Where else would i go? I was lied to about how much he gave me for a trade on the car I was trading in He suddenly had memory loss when I asked him a lot of questions on things that I later discovered were not true after he had sold me a car and the contracts had been signed. He has lied to me continuously since the sale of the car his G.M. treats uncutioulsy when I have to go into the dealership for service or anything else. Plus the car has 5000 miles on and is already falling apart. They had told me at the time of the sale that if I had to have my car in the shop that I would have access to a courtesy car which is also untrue my car has already been in the shop for which I missed a day of work and my car still has the same problems and i now have been on a waiting list for 3 weeks for a courtesy car so it can go back into the shop for the same thing it was in there for the first time. I have only had this car barely two months. I am also $7000 upside down on the car for which was not the car I was looking for to start with that they could not find me one anywhere. I am very unsatisfied with the way they do business and for not being honest and for the way I am treated any time I have to go into their dealership for anything. But yet they like to brag about how they are a 5 star dealership I honestly don't know how they got the rating I would not buy another car form them and I will not recommend them to anyone. They car I bought had 18 miles on it when I got it. the motor has a knock in the engine that the service man said he could not hear when it was in the shop and any untrained person can hear it clearly the brakes squeal it has a miss the tech said they changed the spark plugs and it had a broken wire at 4000 miles I do Know a little about cars and any new car should not have a knock or a miss or need new plugs at that mileage or have broken plug wire which by the way it still has the miss and the vibration when you come to a stop until the transmission shifts back down into first there is a vibration that stops after it goes back into first gear. I am very unhappy with the salesman the G.M. the car everything about Benny Boyd's dealership. and if I could go back and do it again I would never go there to buy a car. Everyone says Your first new car buying experience is great> Mine was anything but great not even close to being good.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent, Parts=Excellent, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Yes,
Benny Boyd dodge has sold us one new vehicle and two used vehicles. On three different occasions. The sales people at benny boyd have been helpful and very courteous in dealing with us. I made the mistake of buying 2 new vehicles from mac haik dodge. One of them I had a minor problem with which mac haik dodge could not fix,nor would they suggest a resolution to. I took the truck to benny boyd and they did everything they could to resolve the problem.To include allowing us to use a rental vehicle until ours was fixed. I would recommend the sales new and used, along with the service department to anybody looking to buy a new or used chrysler vehicle. As the commercial says you better buy from benny. I learned this the hard way. Thanks to benny boyd and all their personnel for all you have done for us and will continue to do in the future for us. THANKS AGAIN

Sales=Excellent, Service=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=No,
Bought two vehicles in under a year from Shane Plumley and he got me a great deal both times. I was in a hurry to get one the second time but kept changing my mind about what options to search for. He never seemed the least bit bothered by all my calls. Ended up sending someone about 15 hours one way to pick up the truck I'm driving from another dealer.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=No,
I inquired via both the internet and phone about financing a truck several times, but no one returned my calls. When I finally called back for the 5th time, a female rep simply said, "Oh, we can't do anything for you at this time." She didn't provide any further explanation, or suggestions on how to qualify in the future. She didn't even take the time to explain why I didn't qualify. I thought this was extremely poor customer service, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to Benny Boyd Dodge if that's the kind of inefficient, and unfriendly service they'll receive. Regardless if my credit wasn't stellar enough to qualify for the vehicle that I inquired about, I felt degraded by what the woman just told me, and felt as if I wasn't good enough to be doing business with Benny Boyd Dodge or to be given any more of her time to further discuss with me my current credit situation. It appears that they'll give you the time of day if you're credit worthy, but ignore the heck out of you if you're not. I went on to Allen Samuels Dodge in Austin, got the truck I wanted, and received the most excellent and friendly service ever. The best thing about it is, I didn't even have to tell Allen Samuels Dodge what happened to me with Benny Boyd, and still got the outstanding treatment!!! Customer Service is truly a priority that every dealership and its personnel must take heed to, as it can definitely make the difference in being successful. Thanks again, Allen Samuels....To Benny Boyd Dodge - You need to train your personnel better in area of customer service and human relations.

Sales=Excellent,  Service=Don't Know,
I searched all over the state of Texas and this is by far one of the best dealerships I have come across. The salesman Dave Jenkins had a no nonsense approach.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Excellent,
Parts & service department honest, accurate & kept promises. Went out of their way to accommodate my requests.

Benny Boyd is a good dealer. The diesel mechanic is a TDR member too. I've never been told "that's normal for these trucks" they just work the problem until it is fixed.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Benny Boyd in Lampasses, although I have not BOMBED my ride yet I doubt they would say anything

You are right about Benny Boyd Dodge, that is who I bought mine from and they are some of the best people I have ever dealt with. I have also heard they have a great service department and a excellent diesel mechanic.

Dealership Rating:
Good sales department, good service
Fair sales, fair service
Conflicting or not enough information
Poor Service or Poor Sales Department
Avoid like the plague!!
Don't Know / No Experience
