Sales=Excellent, Service=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=No,
After driving from Wichita Ks to Dallas to buy a new truck, (internet sale). The deal went bad; it ended up being a bait and switch. Having money in hand, I contacted Bankston Dodge in Irving I explained What had happened to the sales Manager at Bankston. He informed me he would make it right and beat their price.
I left Bankston Dodge with my new 03 Dodge Quad Cab Hemi in about an hour and a half. I'll buy there again...

Sales=Poor, Service=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=No,
Was there 5 hrs on 7-12 haggling payments, we agreed on amount, give or take 10 dollars. Took vehicle home over weekend, loved it! called monday verify all ok, I got the sure everything fine, gave him a time i would be there, 8 pmish, sat there 1 hr, before i got to finace dept, then when i did , low and behold per the lender (sure) my payments went up 40 dollars a month, and at 48 mos not 60, they said they just found this out, i was furious. Granted i did sign the paperwk because of the vehicle not the service or the BS. also faxed a report from carmax about a recall asking if it was taken care of on vehicle, no response, i was told by the lady who showed me the vehicle it would be detailed, of course it has not been, and now the salesman said he will come get it and detail it as a courtesy to me! no thanks, i will not go back there, it's a once you sign the paperwk we are done kind of place.
I have not even been asked if there are any problems with the vehicle that i have noticed, or is there anything else we can do for you..what a disappointing experience

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Poor,
Called Monday to set appointment for repair of rear left window and missing in engine. Also wanted a state inspection and windshield wipers. Was called and told that it needed a tune up and distributor cap and wires. None of these things were under warranty. (35,000 miles) The estimate for me was 500.00 for distributor cap, wires and tune up. He said the tune up was necessary to correct missing problem. Check with my husband who called the shop. Seems the information changed when he called. Husband called Michigan who stated these repairs to distributor cap and wires should be under warranty. Service person said that they must be mistaken and that they would have caught that when I went to pay for the repairs. Bottom line: cost was $60.00 something including the new wiper blades and inspection. The tune up was not needed and the rest was under warranty. A good example of the woman who does not have the mechanical experience to protect herself from repair stations that are there to make a fast buck. The service person was very nice and courteous but I can not trust this dealership again. (My husband is on his second Dodge Ram and I am on my first-but not last-Durango! I love it!)

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know,
Don't leave your car there when test driving one of theirs for a day or two. They will steal your CD player and speakers. Heaven forbid you ask for it back - they'll get sarcastic and try to replace your Alpine with a cheap Panasonic. It's best to get a letter from an attorney. They succumb to that pretty quickly since they know they're guilty as sin... JERKS!

Sales=Avoid, Service=Avoid,
They sold me a used car that had been totaled out.

Sales=Poor, Service=Poor,
You'll have to do most of THEIR homework. Sales and business departments say they want to make an appointment with you to be ready once you get there. But, when you get there, bring your lunch with you. From the beginning I had to wait on the salesmen, if you can believe that, and the business office to do their work. Ended up having to go back out there four times because they forgot to do this or that - then when I got there they hadn't even typed it up or submitted their piece of the work. I'd be sitting out there for hours to do a few minutes of their work. And it was for ridiculous things - like one, they forgot to put an inspection sticker on my new vehicle! I'm driving illegal...now I got to go back again! I've worked with three salesmen out there because this has dragged on so long. Then, my bank does a lot of transactions with them, has a good rapport with them, but they still make me write them a check for the amount of my trade in just in case they don't get the title. I've been on the phone with them ever since because they act like they're going to cash it! My bank's just doing a normal transaction with them - just like always. I had to get my bank to call them because my bank couldn't figure out what AutoNation was doing. Why doesn't AutoNation call the bank? I guess their using a scare tactic so I'll continue to do THEIR homework and follow up work...so, I guess I'LL call the bank for them. There's more, but you get the picture. Looking back, I don't know why I didn't just run from that place.

Others may disagree, but I bought my new truck at this dealership, and had to take it back at 4200 miles and have nothing but good impressions. Briefly - Sunday pulled out of driveway into street, right turn, got hard to turn, then **POP**, easy to turn, airbag light on (cruise out, discovered later) - Clockspring busted. Called dealership Monday a.m., no one ever picked up in service, got irritated and just showed up, spoke with Al Jackson, no appointment, he said leave the truck and they would fix it that day. He called at 3pm, said the truck is ready, was a busted clockspring, and they drove it to make sure the cruise worked. All under warranty. No appointment, dropped in, got problem fixed, got my truck back in one piece. I am not even going to say the *-star word in this post, but I just wanted to document my satisfaction. .

Dealership Rating:
Good sales department, good service
Fair sales, fair service
Conflicting or not enough information
Poor Service or Poor Sales Department
Avoid like the plague!!
Don't Know or No Experience
