Bought an '05 Ram with the HEMI. Sales department is reasonable. A couple days
after I got home, the truck started doing weird things. Took it in to the service
dept and left it over the weekend. They said they adjusted some sort of cable.
I noticed a few days later, that it was doing the same thing. Had to wait a
week before I could take it back in. They kept the truck overnight. The next
day, after not hearing anything, I went by there. My truck still had yet to
be looked at. I talked to one of the service techs (for the 3rd time in a row
when asked, the service tech who was working on my truck wasn't working) who
said he had heard of the problem I was having and told me about the transmission
cooler filter possibly being bad (why wasn't HE working on my truck?!). I had
to take my truck with me, since I needed a truck for some work I had to do.
Brought it back a couple days later and told the tech, who was finally there
when I was, about what the other tech said. I had to go to work, so they kept
my truck again. The next day, I was told that the filter was bad, and they were
ordering a new one. Two days later, I went and picked up my truck after the
filter still wasn't there. They called me 2 days later to say it was in. Told
me it would take an hour to replace. Over 2 hours later, they were finally done.
Not only that, but I had my truck washed & waxed the day before, and they
ran my truck through their autowash! Needless to say I was extremely pissed
by this time. I took off out of the parking lot, only to have my windshield
wipers fail on me. They stopped mid-way. Had to u-turn around and show them.
They ran a test, found the problem but had to order the part. Kept my truck,
and I got it the next day. I won't go there again.
I love the truck, but I hate the service I got when I tried to get it fixed!

Sales=Good, Service=Poor, Parts=Fair, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
Took my truck in for heavy vibration misalignment and the brakes (I believed
it was the wheel bearing causing the problem and when I changed the break pads
I saw that both front calipers had cracks in them) The service department told
me that the calipers, rotors, and pads had to be changed and the warranty only
covered the calipers. $750.00 later they told me that the vibration was coming
from the transmission and the warranty wouldn't cover it because I supposedly
didn't bring the truck in for a 7500 mile inspection. I had taken the truck
in at 9000 miles and took the service papers with me that stated that I needed
this service. The receipt that I have said that they preformed a service inspection,
changed the oil, and repaired the break caliper retainer. Because they didn't
state that the transmission filter had been changed they void the warranty on
it. After I get the transmission repaired I will be TRADING it in for a new
FORD TRUCK.

Service dept. is the worst. Chrysler dealers have a scam going with this 5 star
crap. They call you 3 times and verify 100% if you were happy with their service.
If you were, you get a survey in the mail to rate them... if you weren't happy,
no survey. Go figure.

took my car in under my extended warranty to get my window fixed that had come
off track.so whole i was there i thought that i would get my oil change . picked
up my car on the 06-11-2003 drove about 2 miles away my motor started to knock
turned it of right away call your service dept.they sent a wrecker.now your
service dept is asking for oil change receipts for the last 5 yrs.your company
is telling me that my motor must have been washed because i don't have enough
sludge in it if i was having some kind of problem with my motor would it not
make more sense to bring it in than to just keep driving it and i had a warranty?
so i feel that one of you technicians done some wrong to my car because when
he change my oil and there was a problem why would he not call me and notify
me? after all i did have a warranty.and on closing they stated on my invoice
that they check my oil before they change it. he did not state that there was
a problem.he only stated that he checked my oil.

I bought a dakota with 400 miles and was told that it was new. After some checking
found out that the truck has two title histories. So the truck sold to me as
new was actually used .
