November 2002 we traded a 2001 dodge caravan for a 2003 model. the next day
we drive to Nashville and the transmission pump went out. that was fixed but
later the front end began to quiver and each time I took it for oil changes
I asked that it be checked. repeatedly service department told me it was my
tires. Several time I had the tires balanced, but no improvement. I took it
to the Goodyear Tire store in Nixon. They checked my tires and told the tires
were fine. So I came back to you and finally you found that the front tie-rod
was bad. Fe b. 04, I brought my van in with a whining in the front end or transmission
pump and lights flicking. You replaced a multifunction switch for the lights
and a p/s cooler hose. I paid you $100.00 warranty fee $100.00 for a cooler
hose and my van still does the same old thing. I don`t have 200.00 dollars to
throw away. When I bring my van in in a few days, how about repairing my van
right next time.

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
I purchased my truck from prebul Auto Group used in 2001 w\only 15000 miles
on it and a year left on the drive train warranty. Several days before the warranty
expired the transmission failed under normal usage. After delivering the truck
to Prebul to be repaired I received a phone call and was told that they couldn't
work on or repair the trans. because I had installed a Banks kit on the motor
and had increased the performance of the truck causing the trans. to fail. After
consulting with Chrysler customer service and with Gale Banks engineering I
was armed with a lot of papers of which included the Magnason-Moss act. I then
met with the two men in charge of repairs (John Poole and David King) who had
at first denied my claim they then told me that they had decided to do the repairs
under warranty. To make a long story short I had the truck in and out of Prebul's
shop over eight times in the span of over a year. The trans. was never correct
since the original failure. In Nov. of 2002 David king informed me that there
was nothing wrong with my truck and they could no longer continue to work on
it. Interesting since they had been working on the truck all this time and had
agreed that there was a problem with it. I then took the truck to Fleet Transmissions,
who took one look at the truck and told me that something was very wrong with
it, later I was to find out that there was so much metal and trash in the torque
converter and trans. that it needed a total overhaul and a new converter. Over
the 12 1/2 months that had transpired the truck had been at the dealer for over
1 1/2 months time while I was busy trying to find a way to move trailers from
job to job or even get a ride to my many different jobsites during that time.
I would ask for any type of courtesy truck or even a car every time and every
time they refused and didn't even seem to care that my business was suffering
because of this. In the end they lied to me and told me that they had done that
later I found out was never even touched. So I bought out of my own wallet a
torque converter and trans. from ATS. So now two years later I have an awesome
truck! No thanks to Chrysler or prebul. But many thanks to Preston @ Fleet-Trans.
shop and ATS for being honest and doing a awesome job helping me get the truck
that I am very happy with!!! I should also state that I am in the middle of
legal action against Chrysler and Prebul for lying to me,wasting my time and
ultimately costing me a lot of money directly and also indirectly. My attorneys
felt that with all the documentation that I have that there wont be any problem
recouping the almost $5000 that I have had to come up with to get a truck that
operates normally.
Everyone at Prebul always acted friendly and helpful. Not once did anyone (including
myself) get angry w/each other. Our conversations were always OK if not a little
bit of frustration on my part. BUT !! I will say that Chrysler customer service
had some of the most rude, obnoxious, short tempered, ill mannered people I
have ever spoken to in my entire life! In one instance I had one person go off
on me without my instigating the outburst. By that time in my dealing with Prebul
I had every right to scream and yell but not once did I stoop as low as that.
