I had the head gasket on my 2001 caravan replaced there. A repair that should
have taken 3 days, including ordering parts took 9 days. The service manager
lied about the repair, he informed me that AFTER his mechanics had replaced
the head gasket, they found the water pump was defective (should have been done
before head gasket was replaced). They then replaced water pump, and informed
to pick up van, after arriving at service dep't was informed that van didn't
start because silicone used to seal the engine had been sucked into valve. Was
then informed that the original newly installed head gasket was defective and
that another one had to be installed. After the new head gasket was installed
and driving home oil light came on, van taken to mechanic and found oil had
never been changed. GM offered to replace engine, even flatbedded van back to
Pa. and still has it and refuses to do any work.

I would consider buying a Chrysler/Dodge product again, just never from Reinhart
Chrysler Dodge of the Poconos. You may get a fair deal, upon purchase. The whole
after ownership experience was the worst. Service manager was a joke.
3.3L engine blown at 140K; transmission blown at 90K. Rebuilt motor, done at
RC/D of the P, was a 6K disaster - where the engine never ran correctly.

Most recent experience was having to wait two days for an oil change, transmission
service and fuel filter. I set an appointment aprox. 10 days before, made arrangements
to drop if off the night before so it was there waiting. I also asked to check
a noise in the front left wheel on hard left turn, some how the tech was asked
to check a brake noise. Upon getting home and inspecting my truck I found a
red rag inside the engine compartment. This should not surprise me since about
a year ago while getting my dakota serviced the tech opened my door while on
the lift and hit a ceiling light, then upon completion ran over the exhaust
hose while backing out of the garage. (this was visible because the waiting
room was in the service while front under construction. A few small episodes
such as oil on hood, and/or steering wheel or console on different occasions.
Love my truck, hate my service

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 4 x 4 with 130,000 miles. I service vehicle regularly.
Oil changes every 2000 miles or so. Recently had service on my intake pan gasket.
They properly performed a timing chain slack test. They found also a leaky thermostat.
Changed pcv valve. Any problems, sounds I have looked at pronto. I would recommend
this dealership and so far Thank God Rinehart has done a great job. They have
come a long way. Bill and Ken and Shawn and Antonio are all professional mechanics
who I would trust anytime with my truck. Phil my service advisor is fantastic
and keeps his customers informed whenever there is information concerning servicing.
Thank you Phil, Todd, and everyone there for making my experience a satisfying
one.
If ever I were to buy another vehicle I would go there. If you regularly service
your vehicle it should last a life time.
