I have purchased or leased 5 vehicles in the past 25 years for Jarrett Dodge up to and including a new 2005 Dodge Dakota on 12/29/05. I have never had a bad experience either in Sales or Service. All my maintenance service is performed at their location. Kieth Medveckus has personally sold me 2 vehicles (Ram 2500 HD's) and is one of the most pleasant and honest sales representatives I have ever had to deal with.
Cars from Jarrett included a 1969 Tradesman Van,1970 Monaco, 1971 Charger, 1995 RAM 2500 HD 4 x 4, 2001 RAM 2500 HD 4 x 4 and now a Dakota.

I shopped every dealer in the tri-state area. Jarrett's pricing was the best ($858. less than the next cheapest). I had two small service problems, they got me in the same day and fixed my problems at no charge. Parts dept has all accessories in stock at internet pricing. I have
recommended several friends who bought their dodge's from Jarrett dodge, they are very happy, and thanked me for telling them about Jarrett's. If you want to save money go to Jarrett's.

My friends referred me to this store a couple of years ago. I can honestly say, I will never go anywhere else ever again. The sales staff were honest (If you can believe there is such a thing in this world). Not pushy. My truck is a couple of years old, and i've had nothing but excellent service work. A little old fashioned but, I kind of like that. No marble floors or coffee bars. Just good hard working people. I would recommend any of my family or friends there anytime.

I purchased my Ram 1500 here and as soon as I walked out the door the turned their backs. I got the 23K used truck home and found that it needed an alignment, had rotted wipers, and no owners manual. This is a certified pre-owned. After many attempts to resolve the problem and finally working my way from sales person to general manager their answer was that they don't know if I hit a curb after I left throwing out the alignment. These guys are horrible with customer service/appreciation. Had the problems fixed myself.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Poor, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
Over the years, the dealership has done well by me but seems to have seriously taken a downturn in the Service Department. Attention to detail has suffered, service appointments lost or miscommunicated, lack of enthusiasm when talking to my wife (some outright nastiness in Svc Dept) - this despite getting Jeff Jarrett's involvement. Overall, think this dealership is suffering despite the owners' efforts. Sales staff still seem good and knowledgeable without being pushy. Spoke to several employees recently who indicate that management is not the same since the dealership is no longer in "the old man's hands". Many employees state they feel slighted and that there is a general sense that emphasis on quality is much less than years ago. I wrote a personal note to Jeff Jarret to indicate that I don;t think I'll be back for another purchase due to Service experience and he has done nothing (beside "fall on his sword" - an apology) that seems to be effective. Bottom line, after several trips to the dealer, my truck's recall and warranty work were completed but none of it was a "smooth" experience. Seems like the five stars are tarnished and the owners need a can of polish so as to reassure employees and not lose any more customers like me. I'm one of those customers (I think) who is very tolerant (always allowing for someone's bad day) but this experience with my 2002 Dodge Ram has convinced me that the trip to Hatboro is no longer worth the aggravation. Next trade will either be with a much closer dealer OR with a different manufacturer's product as the closest Dodge dealer to me always seems to charge MSRP and then some.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid, bought there=No, scv_there=Yes,
I thought I.M. Jarrett was an honest dealer. I took my Dodge 2500 diesel ram in for repair. Fuel lines were leaking by the bell housing,, and to have oil, and filter changed. The service writer said I ought to have the fuel lines replaced because they were rusting out going to the fuel tank. And this would cause a problem later. So I said go ahead and replace them. Eight hundred, and eighty six dollars later, and one day of driving home Glenview, Illinois I have diesel fuel leaking out of two hoses by bell housing, and fuel leaking out of metal tubes connecting between engine and tank: Plus tons of fuel pouring out of the fuel tank. I had to take truck in to Sherman Dodge in Skokie, Illinois to fix all the new problems created by I.M. Jarrett. Then Sherman Dodge wouldn't honor the work or the damage Jarrett Dodge did to my truck. So I paid Sherman Dodge eight hundred and forty five dollar to repair the work I.M. Jarrett did. I don't think I should have to pay twice for the same job to be done.
