Sales Guys are pushy and don't know ANYTHING about the cars they sell. Parts dept guys repeatedly try to argue with me that the parts I bought were the right ones, even though they weren't.
Service department apparently can't read or understand instructions. I asked them to check the coolant bypass hose on the water pump when they were replacing the water pump and replace it if necessary, (On the 5.2 5.9 Magnums, you HAVE to replace those hoses when replacing the pump, or they WILL fail shortly thereafter) Well they didn't check it, and guess what, it blew 3 days later. Plus Another time I took my 98 Durango in to have the fuel tank straps replaced for that recall they had, and when I went to go pick it up, they told me my motor wasn't going to last long and that I was using the wrong type of spark plugs and all kinds of doom and gloom was going to happen if I didn't let them service it there. First of all, I was using double plat plugs that burn super clean, and I use nothing but premium gas, so guess what, there's no black crap or build up in the cylinders that they consider 'normal' for those engines. But the point is, What the hell were they doing pulling my spark plugs and stuff out when all they were supposed to be doing was replacing the tank straps. They shouldn't have even had to open the hood to do that.
I own a excavation company, and I swear by the AMERICAN Dodges, Have yet to own a Daimler one, probably won't ever, They aren't built like they used to be. Here is a list of most of my fleet:

They are all great trucks and I don't treat them easy, but they have all done me well and maintenance is cheap. They just won't die!

Appt. not kept and very bad attitudes seems they love to sell you a vehc. but don't want to work on them.

Bought a used '02 in '04, very high pressure and had problems with paperwork that took a couple weeks to clear up. Truck went to service dept. twice for steering & vibration issues. The second time I went home (50 mi.) with front driveline in the bed of truck, literally in a snowstorm.
These are just some highlights, but I've been completely turned off from Dodge dealers and products.
