Second truck w/ Nelson - first was 2000 - 1500 gas, second 2003 2500 Cummins. Service was fine w/ first truck (only needed regular service checks). Second truck, I had to tell the service writer that Diesel engines don't have spark plugs... - I was in for 30K check (as per service manual) and for reflash of computer. No hassles on fixing TSB, but I had to explain what the manual said for the 30K check. Very irritating to have to do the service writers work for him. Thankfully, the service tech who worked on my truck was very knowledgeable about the truck and Cummins.
No problems with this truck - love the Cummins!

Verified problem as suspected. Checked wiring and connections. Claimed not covered under warranty. Service manager tried taking to area person and still not covered. They supplied me with 800 number to continue my efforts. Unfortunately they did not have the part so it will require another trip to the dealership. or Cummins and I'll do the work. I would still use/recommend verses other area Dodge dealers.

Customer Service rep was rude and uncooperative. Once I made it past him and talked to the diesel Tech all was forgotten. Tech was great and we discussed the problem (intermittent failure of lift pump.)

Your "Bait and switch tactics", incompetence, etc, is a good description. I love my dodge, its the dealer I hate...
