After engine found to be Blown after only 83,000 miles in 4 years and it was
found to be no fault of mine. After talking with the cooperation it was determined
that I needed a new engine. after my oil change records were checked ,it was
told to me that the cooperation had agreed to pay half of the repair of a new
engine which was quote as 5,900 although there is no evidence shown what the
cooperation paid. I decided to trust Al Spitzer service to do the repair which
took approx. two months. After the repair was done after driving the car for
two months it broke down again which seem to be the same problem as before.car
was returned to service, I went inquire if the repair was done after after three
weeks, service manager had not realize that the truck had remained there and
nothing had been done at all. Manager then said he would get on it right away
I returned two days later manager state he had put special oil in it advised
me to drive it a while drove home. returned to service the problem remained.
manager advised again just drive more. unfortunately nothing has changed. returned
truck to service without any diagnostic check manager then decides admits to
not putting in a new engine and using old parts on this short block. I have
paid 2,000 dollars to have my truck repaired and I have been failed and treated
as to this day unfairly with service saying that there is something else wrong
with the engine which will require about 1,000 more for the repair. I don't
believe that my truck was repaired at all, ask that these people fix my truck.
and am prepared to go to court to defend my rights.
I have been treated unfairly and don't believe these mechanics know what they
are doing
