Sales=Poor, Service=Poor, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=No, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
We bought a used dodge durango. The dealer was some distance from where we lived but they were a big dealership and offered a better price. There were various misrepresentations in regard to the sale. We got the car home and proceeded to get phone calls from the sales agent to travel back down (it would take 5 hours we live in the boonies) and re-sign the paperwork because my husband had signed in the wrong spot. We checked the paperwork and this was incorrect. We asked they be honest about what the mistake was. The sales rep would not. He began to call my husbands place of employment and discuss it with his bosses. He then called me and told me that they would come and take the car back. I had to call an attorney who called the owner..we didn't even owe a payment yet. This could have resulted in having the brokers license revoked. I then spoke to Mr Denooyer who straightened the mess out...but..the story doesn't end there. Their sales rep had sold us a care plan that he said any dealership would take. I have attempted to use that plan only to find that it is not accepted by every dealership. I have spoken to 4 different people in the last few days trying to get them to resolve this issue only to be given the following statements "that sales rep is gone" "I just answer the phones" "its really easy...you just call and they take care of it" "the service manager is on vacation" "its not a chrysler plan" "we don't know what their problem is" keep in mind they sold it to me. I am in the process now, since they are not willing to work anything out with the dealer here and have more or less ignored all I have said to report the whole mess to the attorney generals office, the FTC, and I just searched the internet for all BOD names and addresses.
We are so disgusted with Chrysler (this is our 5th dodge vehicle..my husband traded his 3/4 ton ram for a 1 ton F350 with a stainless steel dump bed...sick to death of Chrysler and trying to get service or warranties honored) we may take out a private flyer to place in the Albany NY newspapers to relate our experience there. Maybe then they will honor what they sold.
In the year since we bought it...the recall for the front ball joints made for uneven wear on the tires..the other dealership up here now will not replace because "they are worn" the tires in question have been recalled. The door lock broke, the power window broke, the mirror cracked. Heck right now I can't get them to honor an oil change coupon.

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid,
The service department gives you the run around. Appointments are really hard to make. I bought my truck used and the A-panel on the inside was supposed to be fixed before I picked up my truck. On my way home after picking it up the panel started falling off and I could se that they had attempted to super glue the old panel back on instead of fixing it right. The transmission went 2 months after I bought it and less than a year after getting rebuilt there it is starting to go again. They also never gave a users manual with the truck. They've supposedly ordered it for me in three separate occasions but somehow the order just keeps getting "lost".
