We purchased a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab. At the time there was a $3000.
rebate. We chose to lease the truck to get our payment where we needed it. We
were then told the $3000 rebate would not apply to our lease, but they promised
"to take care of us on the price". After waiting forever (Literally),
I think they just like to wear you down, we signed the paperwork (Shame on us
for not reading better, we assumed they were truthful verbally). We received
NO discount off the price of the truck. When I did read the paperwork and called
back to the dealership, I was basically told "too bad" since I didn't
catch it before we signed everything. I learn quick and will not make another
financial mistake with a company that does not seem to be so honest in their
dealings.
Dodge warranty not so great. No courtesy car when the dealership does not complete
the job. Antifreeze leak covered under warranty, took the car in, they had it
Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon and when we took the truck home, it still leaked antifreeze.
My husband ended up fixing the problem. The brakes had a vibration beginning
at about 7,000 miles. Truck is not driven hard, Rack & pinion have leaked.
Now we have a PO340 code for a cam sensor, again not covered by warranty.

When I bought the truck I found it online. I then called the dealership to schedule
a test drive (125 miles away). There were NO dually trucks in my area. The sales
team was to be expected. Very happy to make a high dollar sale, but didn't know
squat about my truck. My two sales guys (long story) were nice and did not lie.
Almost every other sales guy I have talked to at the facility I have caught
in at least one lie. They have a lot of sales guys so I am sure that at least
a few of them (including my guys) will treat you fair.
Was met at the dealership by Ricky Young. He is the lot manager. Can not say
enough good things about this guy. Treats you with respect and will go way over
the normal limit to make sure you are happy. Dave Maxwell is the GM of the facility.
Again, treated me with much respect and seemed to want to make my purchase a
satisfying experience. He is trying very hard to make this a quality dealership.
It's sort of in a tough neighborhood, but he is doing his best and it seems
to be making a difference.
I compared my vehicle to a Mercedes cost and both Dave and Ricky agreed and
have treated me no differently then if I were to go down the street and buy
a $45000 Mercedes or BMW.
Service: Dave seems to be the best guy to work with. Nice, and treats you good.
I don't like the other two men that work there. Not very nice and they don't
treat the customer with any respect.
Diesel Techs: Brian is the only guy that has worked on my vehicle. Seems informed
on products and does a very nice job. No negative comments on this guy. He has
even crawled under the truck two different times to show me lube points and
given helpful advice.
I'd buy here again. Good luck to you all.

The sales department are a bunch of idiots........I was told by Tony White That
he could and would get us the price on a new truck 3 hours later we left totally
pissed off......I will never set foot in Common wealth Dodge again...
