I Drove 2 hrs to a dealership in Fort Wayne Indiana because I heard their advertisements
on the radio about how they will give you $3,000 more than your trade is worth.
I thought this sounded like a good deal. We made the drive and found a "used"
Dodge Stratus that we liked. The car didn't have keyless entry and we were told
by our salesman that it could be put on for us at no cost. We drove the car
and we liked it. They told us that the car had a V6. We looked at all the numbers
in the finance office and I was skeptical. It seemed like we were not getting
much for our trade. I was wrong, we were paying extra for the Stratus. We paid
$4,000 more than the car was worth as a V6. In the end, due to my own ignorance,
I got home and found that the car had a 4 cylinder. I was furious and the only
offer they made to make was to come back and trade it in and pay even more.
This sounds like a deal!!!!!!! I paid too much already. Now no one will return
my calls and I still haven't seen any keyless entry. They couldn't return calls
promptly if their lives depended on it.

My husband and I bought 2 brand new vehicles from them. 1 in Nov. 2003 and then
2 weeks later on Dec. 11, 2003. We have not had any problems with my Neon but
his Dakota is another story. He was cleaning the ice out of the bed of the truck
in Feb. 2004 in below zero temps when he slipped and fell in the middle of the
bed. It caused the fender wells to dent and the right quarter panel to come
loose at the truck bed floor. We have contacted Glenbrook Dodge and they said
it could not have happened that way and our warranty would not cover it. Basically
they called us liars. They have not even looked at it! All they have seen are
the pictures as it is hard for us to drive 80 miles during the week to meet
the service manager. So now we are stuck with a damaged truck and no way to
repair it. Talk about service after the sale!! They picked out the truck for
us. We didn't get to choose. Guess they must have known it was junk! They said
it could be vandalism or we put something in the truck to cause the damage but
there are not scratches on any of the dents.
Fix our damn truck!!!

Sales=Poor, Service=Avoid, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
After purchasing two (2) new vehicles from this dealership, one (1) of them
had to be brought back into the service department for repairs. The engine light
remained on and would not go off. The Service Manager advised that he had never
saw the code that had showed up on the machine and he didn't even know if it
was safe to drive. He reassured us that it was covered on warranty and it would
be of no cost to us for the repair. The used Assistant Manager of the Used Department
advised me that he would give us (2) tanks of gas for our trouble. We were then
advised that they would call us when the parts came in and they would put our
running boards on the same time so we wouldn't have to come in twice. On Friday
they notified me @ 9:00 am (at work) and said the parts were in could I bring
the truck in, I stated no that I was at work, could my husband bring it in on
Monday. The salesman assured me that would be fine. When my husband brought
it in at 7:30 am he was advised that it would be done by lunch and they would
call if there was a problem. At 11:30 my husband contacted the salesman who
stated that he spoke with them 1 hour ago and it should be done within the hour.
When my husband arrived at 12:30 the department had went to lunch and the truck
was not done. When he finally got ahold of them he learned that they hadn't
even started it yet. When he also reminded them about the gas, surprisingly
no one remembered that promise. Since the day we purchased both vehicles they
have done nothing but lie to us. When I call for the President, he don't return
my calls. We will not be back!!!!

Sales=Fair, Service=Avoid,
2000 durango 4.7 V8. overheating problems throughout 1st summer. Engine failure
in Nov 2000. Towed to dealer, diagnosed problem. Several days later, a wake
up to a police officer at my door. Seems my truck was stolen from the dealer,
who didn't know it was gone until I called them. Apparently, they left the doors
unlocked, which did not allow the factory security system to operate. The dealer
would accept no responsibility and would not allow my lawyer or police to view
security film possibly showing perp. Truck was in shop for 56 straight days
and repairs were not begun until I pursued lemon law relief. Also 1st summer,
truck began very rough idle. Dealer said "feels fine to us,nothing wrong. Even
Mercedes don't idle smoothly". PLEASE! it was a very distinct and sudden change
in idle. Well, 1 year later DC has a TSB to reprogram ECM. I went to a different
dealer, surprise, and they knew of the problem and took care of it quickly.
If I ever buy another Dodge it will likely be from them - Meyer Dodge in Monroeville
IN. I wish zone office cared about dealer problems. I was raised a Mopar man,
and have purchased a number of new DC products. Do they really want to lose
a long-term customer because of Glenbrooks total lack of service? Perhaps you
could add 'steering' to 'specific problems' categories as my power steering
pump failed and required 10 days in shop to get parts and repair.

Sales=Fair, Service=Avoid,
Have had many problems with my 2000 Dodge Durango. Since they are small issues
you would think that it would be easy to repair. But every time I have taken
my vehicle in to be serviced they either have to order the parts, or they say
that they couldn't find the problem. The problems include; engine knock at startup, engine
ping with hard acceleration(higher octane fuel doesn't help), steering alignment,
a/c drain dripping on exhaust, poor drivers door alignment, broke center console
trim while replacing a light bulb. There are also other problems too many to
mention. I have spoken with the service manager, who stated that they are unwilling
to work with me to resolve the issues especially since my truck now has over
36,000 miles. I also tried to contact the owner of Glenbrook Dodge but my request
was transferred to a customer relations manager who stated that he was going
to back up the decision of the service manager. All I can say is that I will
AVOID this Dealership from now on AND I recommend anyone reading this to do
the same.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Don't Know,
Truck actually was bought over the net. The salesman knew his stuff, worked
with me, didn't try to blow smoke, which I liked, as this is the third one ton
dually 4x4 Cummins I have bought.
