Sam Lemons Dealership
I did buy a Mercury Sable from Sam Leman Dealership which it was about one year
old and it comes with warranty. From the beginning the break system was bad
with I have to take it in a few times they never got it fix. Also the transmission
have developed some problems which the symptoms were these, every time you take
off something will hit hard under the car. Well I did take it in to get it fix
they said they fixed up but the problems did continue every time they said the
installed parts but the transmission keep getting awful bad well they drag it
on for months until my warranty run out but I did argue with them very hard
about getting this problem fix. Well the service man tell me not to worried
about it that they will order the parts needed to have it fix and he will call
me when the parts arrived to get them installed, well he did not call me for
about one month. Therefore, I visit in person and talk to them, which by my
surprise they could not find any orders for me and they preceded to tell me
that no order in my name could be found.
Also, they tell me that my warranty was expired by now too, which we have already
discussed before. That is why they have to fix the problem with the transmission.
Finally, they refused to fix my car and now by this time I am demanding to talk
to there manager and also talking loud so everyone around can hear me and I
am telling the service man that I am going to sue them to.
Well, the service man said to me that, that is my right to go and sue them but
they are not going to fix the problem.
There service sucks and I will never buy another automobile in Sam Leman Dealership
again. The public should call this dealership - Sam Lemons Dealership with its
just lemons what there sell to the public.
Yours truly,

BEWARE!! Service dept. is a joke. Bought a 2002 Dodge Caravan in December, two
weeks after purchase the engine began to "chirp". Ended up in the shop 5 times
for same problem and had to it towed in a 6th time for another problem. Finally
talked to VP and will be trading out of vehicle. Will never return to service
dept. for anything. Sales dept. OK after I finally got the big cheese involved.
Funny how that works.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
I have a 98 Dodge Ram 1500. I did not buy the truck from Sam Leman, they honored
the warranty that I purchased with the truck. I had several problems with the
truck and all the service department did was charged me out the wazoo ($366.00
to be exact and fixed nothing)for diagnostic fees. They are very unprofessional
and care nothing about your needs just what they can sell you. I got Hellar
Dodge in Pontiac, IL where the original owner purchased the truck from when
it was brand new, to fix the Trans. problem and other problems, and I am finally
happy with my Ram. I will not recommend Sam Leman to know one and that is the
reason why I am writing this peace. This Sam Leman I am talking about, and the
Sam Leman in Morton, IL are owned by the same individual.
