While I have had nothing major on my 2003 Ram 3500, these folks took care of
the routine and I am more than pleased with the way they conduct business!

Dodge shipped my replacement exhaust manifold to this 5* dealer who was closest
to my Canadian Vacation location. When I attempted to pick up the part this
dealer insisted that I wait 4 days for the next available service appointment.
I refused and left with the part, to have it installed elsewhere. The dealer
reported the incident to the local police who have pursued the issue for months.
They have not arrested me because they don't know where I live [not Idaho].

Sales=Avoid, Service=Avoid, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
I received a recall noticed from Dodge about a fuel tank strap that was being
recalled. I called Tom Addis Dodge who said they knew about the recall and scheduled
me to bring in my vehicle for the work. I took my vehicle in there a left if
for an entire day, which was a great inconvenience because it is the only vehicle
I have. When I went back at the end of the day it was sitting out back. The
service manager tried to charge me a $90 fee to "diagnose" it. I explained to
him it was a recalled item. After 20 minutes of checking he finally figured
it out that it was a recalled item and Dodge was to pay for the recall. During
the entire day they had my vehicle they didn't do anything. When I asked why
they didn't replace the defective part he said they didn't stock it and would
have to order it. I said why didn't you tell me that when I called to make a
service appointment. Long story short, horrible service, horrible sales staff,
horrible dealership.. Avoid at all costs, well worth the drive to another dealership
(which I did).

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid, I had a '93 Dakota that needed a rear
main seal replaced for a slow leak (under warranty.) The truck had also been
at two other dealerships (in another state) for an apparent steering wheel "creeking"
noise. Both of which were warranty work. I took it to Tom Addis for the service
work. Ten (10) days later I picked up my truck and had a $100 bill, for the
steering work, despite the previous warranty records that never fixed the problem.
As for the rear main seal, I got under the truck a few months later and noticed
THAT IT WAS STILL LEAKING. They never touched the gasket. My first and last
experience with the service dept at Tom Addis. I will never buy a vehicle there.
