Know, Service=Avoid,
Took my 98 Quad Cab 4x4 sport in for front axle U-joints. I lived in an apartment
at the time, and wasn't allowed to do any work on the truck. The first time
they "fixed" it it cost me $450. The next morning, there was a large puddle
of gear oil leaking out of the drivers side axle tube. Took it back, and they
sprayed it with some cleaner and told me it was my imagination. So the next
morning, an even bigger puddle under it! I took it back and there was "nothing
they could do, bring it back Saturday." So I did. On Saturday they told me they
couldn't do it till Monday, and it wasn't their problem. I explained to them
it was, and they offered no condolences whatsoever. Only after creating a scene,
much shouting, and EXTREME disappointment, did they offer me a "loaner" for
the weekend. Basically, they had my truck for 10 out of 14 consecutive days.
This isn't the first problem I've had with this dealership, but they're the
only one in the area! This was my second and last dodge truck, not because of
the manufacturer, but because of the EXTREME difficulty in finding an honest,
competent dealership capable of fixing the problem right the FIRST TIME! So
far, so good on my new Silverado.....

Know, Service=Avoid,
I took my 2001 Dodge Ram to their service dept. because of loud noise in the
rear. This was a safety issue since I was on vacation and towing a camper. The
service technician said there was nothing wrong with my Pick up and " that he
wouldn't lie to me, well he would but not on that". On the way back to Illinois
I experienced louder noise and was diagnosed with pinion gear, rings and bearings
problem upon my reaching home.

Had my truck for 8 days and a cost of over $1000, got it back with the same
problem I took it in for. Took it back within a half hour and was told to come
back next week (as if I don't have to work, just take my truck back and forth
to them). It has been two days this week and still it is not ready.
Sales=Avoid,
Service=Excellent,
The sales consultant told me that the price per month was going to be $300 and
when we signed the paperwork the price was 360 a month.
