those people are full of crap. the tell you everything you want to hear at first.
then they tell you lies lies and more lies. and if you have a trade in for get
about it you are better of selling it on the streets. they told me that the
bank gave me the loan and everything was fine.
then the next thing you know i find out that they ran my credit 12 times with
10 different banks. my credit score hit the floor becase of them. and on top
of that they tried to sell me the car, a dodge neon 2003 for 21,000. yeah right
the most you should pay on a neon is 13,000. and that includes the trade in
and the 2,000 down payment. then they call me 2 weeks later stating that the
car needs to be returned because i wasn't approved and that i need a co-signer.
horrible service. then on top of all of that when i come back to get my trade
in back they ended up loosing my tag and they said they are not responsible
for that. i wanted to fillout a law suit but it would be a waste of time cuase
they'll just lie thru the whole thing.
please take it from me do not purchase a car from rivera potamkin dodge in hialeah
if you want to keep a good credit score. they we lie to you to get what they
want. just look at the surveys.

Sales=Poor, Service=Don't Know, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=No,
Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
On October 12, 2004 I purchased a used car from Potamkin Rivera Dodge and paid
them cash for the car. They said it would take a few weeks for me to receive
the new tag and title to the car. That was the first lie. After one month they
said they could not give me the title to the car because there was a lien on
the car from whoever traded it in. According to Florida Law, the dealership
has 10 days to pay off an existing lien. They said they did not want to. Why?
No explanation. Finally at the end of November, 2004 they told me that they
paid off the lien on the car and sent the paperwork to Tallahassee and that
I would receive the title in two weeks. Second Lie. After two weeks they said
the title came back in their name and that they had to resend it to Tallahassee
to come back to me in my name. Third Lie. As of December 10, they told me they
never paid off the lien on the car until December 2 and they are waiting for
the release of the lien to come back from Capital One Finance. Bear in mind,
I paid $10,000. cash for the car and expected a clean lien immediately. Today
is December 19, 2004 and I still have not received the title. I have filed complaints
with the Division of Motor Vehicles and so far nothing has happened. According
to the State of Florida the dealership will be fined for breaking two laws.
One not paying off the title in 10 days and one for issuing me 3 temp tags.
You see in Florida a temp tag is only good for 30 days. According to the law
that is how long it should take a dealership to provide you with the tag and
the title. So far the state of Florida has not done anything except promise
to help me get the title. I was lied to by the salesman, the finance manager,
the sales manager and the comptroller of the company. On top of all that, they
advertised the car on the internet as having 45000 miles. The car had 66000
miles. False advertising. To add insult to injury they only said the had one
key to the ignition and that I had to go the the Cadillac Dealership and by
my own set of keys to the tune of $85.00. At this point I want to give them
the car back and get my money back. Do I trust them to give me the money back.
NO. This dealership is the worst I have ever had to do business with in my life.
This experience will always remain on my mind. They are bad.

Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
I brought my vehicle in for service yesterday at 2:00 p.m. It's been 24 hours
and they are yet to LOOK at the truck. They won't even give me the common courtesy
of returning a phone call to let me know what's going on. The only thing I can
get their service advisor (Joey Hernandez) to tell me is to be patient. It's
been 24 hours, I am renting a car, and you haven't even looked at the car yet????
I know what the problem is and it's a simple 45 minute fix. I can't wait to
hear what they tell me when they do finally get around to looking at the truck.

They took my $3300.00 dollars of down payment, and at the 3rd day the car was
not ready to drive. They service the car at least 5 times , i told them , "
i want my money back to buy another car any where else, " no way, no way,
finally i got tired making stupid phone calls to attorneys, etc , one of them
, at the end discovered that he was employed to defend Potankim, " sorry
but i can do nothing in this case " . Big plot ?? Don't know , the thing
is that there is not defense against the big fish, so be aware when you decide
to buy a car , new or used, they will kick your ass always.

I went there to buy a used car ,for my wife who is pregnant, ( economical reason)
I Bought a Mitsubishi Outlander 2003 , and the very first day had problems with
the financial guy, he want me to sign some blanks papers , i said please, fill
these out first , i want to see the exactly numbers on it , wow!! that was muy
sentence!!
Guy started screaming, calling me stupid and even worse , sales persons were
there at the moment, also sales managers,
i left the dealer and break the contract, then the next day they call me the
all day , "excuse all please, we want to sell you this car, we know is
very important for you and your wife, came here we want to talk to you personally
"
And the Big Stupid ( me ) came back, took the car at home and then i saw a suspension
problem , went to the dealer ( less than 72 hours ) i want my money back, $3300.00
dollars of down payment, this car is unsafe for my wife and at this point what
i want is my money please, !!! "NOoOO , we can no do that , deal is done,
... About is my wife has an accident with the car ?? Faces ...No answers...went
to service for more than 5 times and the problem still there , i call the owner
by phone , Mr . Aurelio Rivera , and he told me the same , i said , of course
, was easy to cash the check , but return it is impossible !! At this point
my car is still on service, today the mechanic say , "done , the problem
is fixed , but i was there looking at him , what he was doing , and when i got
home , one front tire had 10 pounds more than the other (28 vs 38) !!! Of course
, he fixed the problem with air!!! Great service . Bottom line, Never go there
, they just care about money, money and money, but i can tell you something,
this experience i will only forget it if i die, Every single day Potamkin Rivera
will heard about me, i want to be in their minds like they in mine, Abuse, that's
the word, behind their faces you will see their true feelings. Defense ?? How
?? Violated ?? Yes , that's what i feel now, me and my family , they have our
money , and we have a broken car. Thanks Potamkin , great name, at least for
the moment!! Enjoy it !!!

Sales=Fair, Service=Avoid,
They were average hard-sell sales-people, and they were calling all the time
to have the truck brought in for it's initial "free" oil change, so I would
hand them their stupid customer-satisfaction survey. I told them I didn't need
an oil change at only 1,000 on the odometer, but 3 different people kept calling,
so I went in at about 2,000 miles, although I thought it wasn't necessary, and
they were competing for their name to be on the survey, so I gave it to this
woman, and they never called again, although, technically, it's past due for
the next oil change, and when I went there for an assessment of some bumper
damage they wanted to send me to the other side of town to an independent body-shop
guy that I had a prior unpleasant experience with $500 to fix a scratch on a
bumper?? And my prior experiences there when I had a Chrysler Concorde were
worse. I had rough idling from the beginning to the end, and they always told
me they couldn't replicate the problem...and the last time I brought it in due
to whining in the transmission, they tried to tell me it was the tires as I
accelerated, and I told them I was very sure that wasn't the problem, and they
had my car there all day the last time and when I called for a status check,
the service mgr. Said the tranny guy hadn't checked it yet, but they checked
everything else and couldn't find anything. So when I reminded him that I specified
that it sounded like the transmission when I brought it in he started talking
to me like I was being a royal pain in his butt, yet when I had brought it in
earlier that day he assured me it wouldn't take all day. As it turned out it
took 2 days, and they found out it was transmission-related, and 500 miles later
the problem started again. But it's always a problem with their attitude when
I need something done. I have problems with my vehicle now, and just don't want
to deal with the hassle of going there and begging them to look into it properly.
And, they moved without even giving any kind of notice. If I knew they were
going to move from down the street to where they are now, I'd have never bought
a vehicle from them. It is completely out of my way. And this was just after
the first oil change they begged me to come in for. Customer service seems to
be nonexistent at the Potamkin North service dept., although their sales people
treated me much better than their close competition, Palmetto Potamkin Chrysler
