EXCELLENT. I had to have a jump at a motel earlier that morning and as long
as the engine was running, I decided to stop by the closest Dodge dealer to
find out what caused the problem. I pulled in to the service bay with a barely
running diesel engine. The service writer took down the information and pulled
it forward and then right into an open bay for the mechanic to look at. Within
minutes he tracked the problem down, came and got me and informed me exactly
what needed to be done and how much it would cost. Not only did I receive excellent
service, but I got an even better price on the replacement of both 750ca batteries.
Apparently this dealership had undergone a recent shakeup in the service department,
because all the mechanics and service writers were new to the dealership and
the area. My diesel tech was from CA, having been recruited to this dealership.
I'd go back to them in a heartbeat if I needed any service work done.

I have owned Dodge products for over 20 years. In that time I have had several
service dealerships work on by vehicles. I usually stay with that dealership
until something goes wrong, or I am treated unfairly, or I find I have been
taken advantage of etc... I am writing to you now to let you know of the great
service I received at Orange Park Dodge. The service manager is Mr. Rock Hamilton.
He and his staff do a fantastic job for in the service of my vehicles. But before
I go on I want you to know that praise does not come lightly from me. So for
Orange Park Dodge to get praised, means they really have earned it! My story
starts in 1980 with the ownership of a Dodge Colt (1980-1984, a 1989 Dodge Ram
150 (1989 - 1999), a 1994 Dodge Caravan (1993-2002), a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 (1999
to present), and a 2002 Chrysler Voyager ( 2002 to present). I consider myself
a good customer. I value quality workmanship, honesty in dealing with me, and
loyalty to the customer above all I have found these traits in the service staff
at Orange Park Dodge. If they tell me I need something fixed, I believe them!
If is ask if it could wait till the next time I get service, and they say yes,
I believe them!. That is honesty! Another good example is on November 20, 2003,
I dropped off my 2000 Dodge Ram for service. Is use this Dodge Ram to pull our
travel trailer, so you can see my concern for safety. I then received a phone
call from Scott (service advisor) at Orange Park Dodge that my rear brakes were
worn beyond the 50% mark that I like. This is a personal requirement, a comfort
feeling that I have. Is asked Scott how bad and he said more than the 50% I
like. I thanked him for his concern and told him to proceed with the new brake
shoes. Everything was finished and ready to go when promised. I can't tell you
how pleased I am with the service at orange park dodge. It is truly a "5
star dealership". And I hope to help them continue this tradition of service
and quality.

I traded in a leased Durango and the sales team told me that they would take
care of the remaining lease payments and mileage overage if I would give them
$3,000 and lease a new Grand Caravan for $399 per month for 4 years. I agreed,
paid the money, gave them my Durango and six months latter to keep from being
sued by Daimler Chrysler Credit I paid an additional $4,000. The dealership
keep promising to take care of the payment but in the end they were just lying
and delaying. I will never do business with this dealer again and will tell
all of my friends and associates about their unethical business practices.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid, scv_there=Yes,
I took my 1999 Dodge 1500 in for service. They called me and told me I had 3
rods broken and since my vehicle was under warranty that was taken care of.
My truck was there for approx. 12 days and then I was called and told it was
fixed and I could pick it up. After driving off the lot about a mile down the
road I smelled Gas very badly. I immediately called the service department back.
I was told that the aroma was normal and to drive it for a few days and if the
aroma does not go away to call back. 2 days later I am driving down the road
and lost all power to the engine it was like having only two cylinders. Upon
opening the hood I could see gas dripping from the fuel rod. I called the service
department and told them was was happening. They told me to call a record company
and have it towed. I explained that I had no intentions of paying for this.
They did agree to pay for the tow if it was something they caused. When i went
to get a rental car they told me they would only pay if it was something they
caused. They had my truck another two days. When I arrived to pick up the truck
they gave me the keys and when I started the vehicle it sounded like nuts and
bolts were falling out of the engine. I went back to the service desk and told
them about the sound before they even went near the truck I was told it was
the catalytic converter. No service tech drove the vehicle because the miles
were the same as I had left it for towing. No service tech or manager ever even
went to listen to my vehicle. A young woman that takes service calls walked
back to the vehicle went back inside and tried to get someone to come out but
they did not. When I told her I wanted the vehicle fixed she said it would cost
$600.00. I went to speak with Rock the service manager and he told me that this
was not their fault and that they were not going to fix it. He said we agreed
to fix the fuel rod and we ate the rental but we are not going to fix this.
I asked him there how he could say this was not something they caused. I was
angry and upset and explained I had no intentions of paying for this because
my truck did not have this problem before they worked on it. I understand that
this part can go bad but I also know that if raw fuel is running into the converter
it can ruin it. I took my car to someone that the service rep said was reliable
and they even wrote it down on the receipt that the trouble was caused by raw
fuel in the converter. Keep in mind I spoke to Rock's Supervisor before doing
this and she told me the same thing he did. We have already fixed the fuel rod
and ate the rental and we do not intend to fix this problem. I am now speaking
to an attorney because no one there will help me. Having this fixed cost me
256.75 and now the muffler is clogged and I have to Replace the exhaust system
because of rock telling me to drive it like it is. "Your satisfaction is
our number 1 goal"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right

Sales=Excellent, Service=Don't Know, bought there=yes,
I called on phone spoke with gene about the 2002 mustang they had in the paper.
Right from the start Gene was positive and stated he could meet my needs, I
had tried at several other dealers to purchase a vehicle but was told everything
but what I wanted to here. Gene put the deal together over the phone and made
me feel good about the purchase. When I arrived to see car I was very happy
the way my family was greeted and treated, we were there a short time and our
deal was done. This I feel is rare for a car dealer, Gene I will also call and
speak with your manager. Also special thanks to our finance guy, he to should
be given thanks.
