The dealership is full of deceitful liars. My disgusting experience began on
Labor Day weekend when I went to look and and was prepared to purchase a new
Jeep Cherokee. The first contact was with a salesman who, I learned, had no
authority to sell me a car. He took me on a test drive and served basically
as a social host and a mule who was told to gather personal information so his
superiors could try to work me. First, we met with a sales manager who asked
my 70-year old father if he is on crack when he suggested the price we want
to pay. He later said if we got the car at that price, get him a truckload (and
he would supply us with gas for a month). When we tried politely to leave, the
next guy came along and insisted we talk to him since he could really make things
happen. He again tried to shake us down, although we told him there was no room
for movement on out part. He then turned us over to a man who claimed to be
the general manager, who said we must be crazy and wished us luck. So far, the
experience was disgraceful, but nothing we did not expect. We simply planned
to take our business elsewhere. Within a few days, I had received at least two
calls and a letter from the first "salesman." He was absolutely useless,
but at least he was pleasant. Then, the scam began. I received a call from a
man describing himself as a business development manager, who assured me that
the deal we offered was accepted and we should come right down. I resisted and
asked if he really, really meant business and he told me he never calls people
unless the deal is already done. Come on down, we will do business at your price.
Within an hour, there was a follow-up call from another flunky calling himself
a manager, who wanted to make sure I had good directions to the dealership.
When we arrived, the person who called me was "with another customer"
and could not be disturbed unless I wanted to wait thirty minutes or so. Now,
in retrospect, I am sure that person does not really exist but is a codename
used so the deceitful people at the front desk can launch the scam. One of the
men who had seen us at the original visit told us he was the manager and he
could help us. He took some time in the glass sales enclosure and came out with
a sheet, asking me what was owed on the trade. There is no trade. He ultimately
brought a sheet out with the same inflated price he had offered before. I asked
him why on earth somebody would call me when there was no real deal to be made.
I accused him of bait and switch, called him a scumbag and told him to save
his ridiculous excuses for the state attorney general. I intend to follow through
on that promise!!!

This was the worst experience ever! I have been jerked around since day one
with this calamity of errors they are clearly not doing business in good faith.
Now after I have signed a contract and the car is mine they are trying to take
it away from me claiming that it was supposed to have been shipped somewhere
else. They have hung up on me when I have tried to speak with them about all
these errors and insist that I return the car so it can be shipped out to where
it originally was supposed to go. The company is full of ignorant people who
clearly have no clue what they are doing and conducting deceptive business practices.
I will never go back there nor will anyone within 10 feet of me that I can tell
my story to.

Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
On Sunday, November 20th, 2004 I had the unpleasureable experience of dealing
with Gary Robinson in the finance department for the purchase of an extended
Warranty on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. My car was previously in the service
department to replace a broken window regulator and since the car was out of
warranty I had to pay for these repairs myself, figuring purchasing the extended
warranty was a good idea. After working with Gary to finalize the purchase of
the Warranty (this as after he tried to sell me the outrageous Optional Car
Care Package, telling me it was not optional. Since I read all items put in
front of me from a car dealership, I had to fight with him to demonstrate this
was Optional. His response, "Guess they changed it and I was unaware, but
do you realize we will have to redo all the paperwork and that will take time".
I am positive there are people he has stuck this to in the past. At the time
of the purchase, I questioned him about a pre-service inspection being required
and he told me as long as the car was running fine their was no reason. 19 days
later, I brought the car in for a strange noise coming from the a/c and the
master cylinder I had replaced 90days earlier was defective. I was also advised
by the service department of a MAJOR oil-leak, yet never saw any oil remnants
in my driveway or office parking spot. Because they said this could lead to
major engine trouble, I did agree to have it repaired as well. When Fidelity
Warranty came to inspect the vehicle, they denied the claim due to "No
pre-inspection survey on file". I was now responsible for the repairs and
the dealerships stance was, yes we screwed up and should have followed procedure,
but we didn't, Sorry, we will refund the Warranty Premium. To make matters worse,
my car was in the Service Dept for 2 weeks because the Master Cylinder was on
national back-order. I was told by the Service Manager (Pete) and the parts
manager that they would add to the priority ship list. Chrysler told me the
part would ship 12/23. When I called 12/27 to verify the part had been shipped,
Chrysler told me I was on the low-priority list. I began to call neighboring
Jeep dealers and found the part myself. I called Fairbanks Parts Mgr, told him
where I found it and that he had 24 hrs to purchase the part from that dealership
and install and finalize my repairs. Amazing how I could get the part in a day,
they had almost 2 weeks to call around and couldn't get the part. I have since
gotten my vehicle back from the dealer, but 2 days later the check engine light
went on and was told to bring the car in so they could look at it. I know if
there are repairs I am going to have to pay for it. They likely did this deliberately
since I am continuing to call to get them to foot the original $1385 dollar
repair bill that should have been covered by the extended warranty. These guys
are liars, crooks and cheats and would never do business with them again. I
am thinking about a lawsuit nd will b taking a 1 page ad in the local newspaper
to solicit other potential claimants whom this may have happened to.

Came in for the 10000 trade in for any vehicle. Found out limited to 3 different
cars (04' T&Cc, 04' Jeep , and 03' Durango's) I said fine, show me the 03'
Durangos. They only had 1 in stock and wanted $10,000 over actual value. What
false advertising.

We were in an accident that totaled our vehicle. We had been renting Dodge Ram
Pickup. We knew this was the perfect car for our family. So my husband stopped
in a nearby store. He spoke with a sales person and manager and was honest about
a past repo so they wouldn't waste our time. They told him they could help him
- Bring back the wife. We got there with our kids, they insisted we both test
drive the vehicle. He has us pick out the vehicle we want from stock. We finally
sat down to input the info, the salesperson did not know how to even work a
computer let alone there system. After about 2 hours, he gets our credit info
and within 5 minutes tells us that they cannot help us at all. He made an inquiry
to our credit under false pretenses. They are jerks!
