First meeting: Backfire through throttle body. Asked for diagnostic, was told I need fuel pump, super tune up, fuel injector cleaning. $1385.00 later and 600 miles backfire through throttle body started again while returning to PA. Returned to Crystal Dodge 1 month later to be told I need oxygen sensor, charged $100. Shouldn't this have been detected on the first trip by the diagnostic test! 6000 miles later 15 miles to the gallon turned into 8 miles to the gallon. Trucks runs rough, steam/smoke billowing from exhaust. Overheats often, tried to remove spark plugs to no avail. Returned to Crystal Dodge, asked to have spark plugs removed and compression test done. I was told by Crystal Dodge that my spark plugs had been epoxied into the engine, compression within factory settings. They guaranteed 12,000 miles on tune up performed at that time. 6000 miles later truck is again running rough, gas mileage failing again. Constant overheating. Radiator blows side off, radiator clogged with stop leak. Returned again to Crystal Dodge due to plugs could not be removed by me. Again returned to Crystal Dodge where they somehow removed plugs. Since last visit, every 500 miles I loose 1 gallon of antifreeze and 1/2 quart of oil. Never had this truck been worked on at a Dodge dealership. At 150,000 this truck performed to factory specs until the day I took it to Crystal Dodge. I am now purchasing a new engine to replace the one that Crystal Dodge has destroyed. The truck had been great up to the point where Crystal Dodge got involved.
