My husband & I purchased a new Dodge Dakota Aug. 15, 2005. Excellent experience
with the sales rep. He was very respectful and listened to what we wanted. Great
follow up and backs up what he says. Definitely will buy there again. Couldn't
be happier.
Great truck. Loaded with everything except a HEMI.

After high school and boot camp I was station in Texas at Ft hood. My mother
wanted me to have a safe and reliable vehicle since I'd be traveling such a
distance every time I'd come home. So we went to bob boast dodge and bought
a 2000 stratus. Four years and 40,000 plus miles and not even a hiccup. I was
so impressed that when i came home on leave from Iraq I purchased an 04 ram
with the newly released hemi engine. I think my hometown dealership is great.
During purchase of my new truck I drop the stratus at the service department
to have my oil change and a once over before heading back to Texas. Those guys
there are great, they even wash the vehicle for free, I didn't even ask but
they said this was their thank you to me for helping keep our country safe and
free. And to all the people who complain on this site be thankful you live in
this country.

I am in a wheel chair. I ran over a curb in my caravan and broke the sliding
door, so i could not get out of my van. Came in to dealership just as they where
closing, the man in the service department stayed late to fix my door. I offered
to tip him, but he would not accept my tip and charged me nothing. Thank god
for the kindness of this gentleman. I never expect this type of service in this
day and age.

Classic Sales people...the salesman wanted to sell me a Ram 2500 4 x 4 diesel
for sticker...$39,000.00 and give me $20,000.00 for my trade. I told the salesman
I can get it for Invoice down the road. Then offered me the truck for $35,000.00
and now only $16,000.000 for my trade. Do the math, it's the same friggen thing,
$19,000 either way!! He then pretended to not understand what I was talking
about when I told him this. He actually wasn't even that good because when you
figured in the dollars and cents the second offer was $400.00 more! I then left
telling him I used to be a engineer and addition and subtraction was not that
confusing for me. I still don't think he got it or was very very good at acting
dumb.
Many friends will not go back to their service department for damaging their
wheels and rims during service and being very rude.

After 72 years, this is the very first brand new car I purchased. They have
been so accommodating in every way. They were able to keep my payment in a range
that was affordable on a car I absolutely love. The regular services have been
done there at the dealership and I always feel they review what is necessary
at the mileage I have on the car. I had the misfortune to be involved in an
accident with the car and the dealer service manager seemed to have made all
the heartache and disappointment go away with the attention to having the body
shop make it like new. He even contacted me that night at home knowing how upset
I was with the damage to check that i was not physically suffering. These people
treat you like family. I know that my neighbors gave them high marks all the
time. They can be some of the most critical people in which to do business.
They are mostly younger (30-50 yrs old) affluent, demanding and hardest to satisfy.
That is when I had decided to take my Lincoln in and try out the service there.
They treated me so well that is what swayed me to purchase my 2002 Dodge Stratus
from them. The car has 19,000 miles on it now. I may even replace it with another
vehicle in a couple of years. I will not shop anywhere else with the trust I
have in everyone in this dealership. Kudos’ on a job done right over the
last 4 years since I decided to do business there! So many people bellyache
about car purchases and service issues; obviously they have net experienced
the Bob Boast Dodge way of being a valued customer.
In an imperfect world they try to keep a smile, sense of humor, and do the right
things for a customer. The rest of the customer service world could learn from
these folks.

Bought a Truck there w/ only 51000 miles on it. Truck appeared to be in superb
condition. Boy was I wrong. Among numerous problems which started surfacing
every time I took it in to be worked on the problem was never satisfactorily
completed, half a$$ed. A rep. of their service dept. tells me I'm a pain in
the a$$ and don't bring my vehicle back.
My truck sat for 3 weeks and when I came back, upon starting it up enough oily
smoke blew out of my exhaust to cover the entire front of my home. Now I'm pissed.
Took the truck back to the dealership and demanded to have the valve stem seals
replaced. They refused and told me I would have to pay for the repair myself.
$600.00
I ran a Car Fax report on the vehicle, which is what I should have done in the
first place but didn't because of the low mileage and appearance of the vehicle,
and found out the truck had been a repo and sat for (1) entire yr. causing the
valve stem seals to deteriorate and start rotting. Furthermore there was a odometer
rollback discrepancy of 5000 miles.
I confronted the dealership supervisor (with proof) of the situation and he
told me Car Fax was unreliable. Furthermore, supervisor tried telling me all
trucks burn 1 qt. per month, even brand new ones. I have had to add 1&1/2
qt.'s of oil to this truck every month. The vehicle is used only for transportation,
no pulling or related use.
Before I came aware of these problems and leaving on my trip I also bought my
daughter a 2003 Neon which come to find out they only gave her (1) to the vehicle.
She went to have a duplicate made and was told it was a laser cut key costing
around $250. ea. which had to come from the manufacturer and through the dealership.
From the treatment I have been subjected to by the staff of this dealership
I would STRONGLY suggest to anyone who is interested in buying a Dodge NOT to
have any dealings with this dealership as they can't be trusted or relied upon
. I will be contacting the president of this company seeking rectification and
until they fix or correct the problems my comments stand.

Paid cash for a Truck, sales was cool about the transaction and even sold me
the vehicle at a reasonable price. Being a used vehicle there were a few items
needing attention. Every time the vehicle was taken in only part of the problem
was solved or not touched at all. The last time I was there a service rep. boldly
tells me (I'm a Pain in the Ass and don't bring your vehicle back). I could
only restrain myself from punching the idiot out but instead called the president
of the company who not only extended my warranty but deeply apologized for this
idiots actions. There is always two ways to hand rude and inconsiderate people
who don't realize where their paychecks come from.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
I took my Dodge into there for some electrical problems and the well known warped
rotors. I first told the service department about the rotors at 8K mi on it.
They told me if it got worse to bring it back, not knowing that after 12k it
wasn’t any longer covered. So after arguing for an hour they decided to turn
my rotors. After all that now my truck won’t stop worth a crap!!! They blamed
the fact that I tow a 3000lb boat with the truck as being the cause of the problem.
I have the factory tow package on my vehicle and it’s my fault?? The electrical
issue was never fixed and I had to do it myself. The right blinker didn’t work
when the truck wasn’t running. The voltage was 8~9 volts, when it was running
its was 12~13. I found a connector loose and pitted from arcing. The service
manager told, "don’t ever bring your vehicle in here again". I called Dodge
and filed a complaint against the dealership, maybe next year the only 5 stars
they will see will be up side their thick head!!!

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
The service personnel there know exactly how they treat people...with very little
respect. They are well aware when a defect or problem should be covered by Dodge,
but they do not bend when it comes to satisfying a customer - they will not
even meet you half way. I have two defective headlights with corrosion on the
front of each. The actual light barely shows through due to this defect. The
service department is saying it is my fault due to "Sun Damage". I have never
in my life seen anything like this on a car. I look at cars that are older than
mine and are in the sun more than my car, and I have never seen this before.
They will not help me. Also, I took my car in and asked that they rotate the
tires and change the old. Later, I realized that they did not rotate my tires,
but they charged me for it. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. They do not care about the
customers. I had to have my roof painted due to "sun damage", and they would
not pay a dime of it. M! y car is only 3 years old. Come to find out, the business
that painted my car informed me that the roof of my car "had been painted before".
I bought my car brand new!!! Bob Boast Dodge....NEVER TRUST THEM. I really want
to get a new Intrepid, but now I have to drive elsewhere since I cannot trust
the dealership in my own town.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know,
Went to buy a used car ($7,000), liked it, except felt it was about $500-800
over priced. Asked to come down $300. Said "No, it's fairly priced and we know
more about pricing." Said but the tires need to be replaced which they did,
they showed were. He wouldn't offer to replace the tires. Told him then I guess
I'd have to walk away and he said, and I $hit you not, "OK. See ya". Maybe it
was a bad day, either way, Don't go there.

Obnoxious A**hole Thieves. Two rotor replacements within 21K. Obvious problem
but Chrysler refused to admit or remedy even with arbitration.
