A+ service department. Sales are always there to make the deal and they guys
in parts get it right. I found BCP a few years ago when looking for a new truck.
They gave me the best trade in amount, cut the most off the price of the new
vehicle and got the bottom line price well below what I was expecting to pay.
I was able to get into a new truck that I thought I was never going to be able
to own, and they did it for less than the other guys wanted for a used model!
Extra mile to satisfy the customer!
The service dept has always been reliable, and honest. I understand that some
issues can be hard to diagnose by they do try there best to get it done and
done right the first time. How often does the service department call you and
let you know you don't need that air filter or transmission service or those
spark plugs that YOU requested be done? The other places will just do as you
ask and never think twice. These guys make sure I get the service I need, and
not screw me because of my ignorance or lack of knowledge about vehicles. I
remember I dropped off using the night drop envelope and asked for new spark
plugs to be installed on my wife's car at 30,000 miles. Normal service right?
I got a call back from them saying that her car uses platinum plugs and are
good for up to 100,000 miles. That makes me trust them 100%. Who else would
do that? I know people bust on them for not getting there car back in a reasonable
amount of time. Well I guess that depends on what it's in for. I understand
that parts need to be ordered, problems diagnosed and repairs to be scheduled
and performed. I guess some people think that there car is the only one in that
shop and all 10 tech's are working on it at one time. Come on people, give them
a break. Ever been to a doctors office? First pay that co-pay, then wait, and
wait, and wait then get weighed and told to sit in a small room on a table and
wait, and wait, and wait. Doctor comes in, pokes around a bit, asks dumb questions,
repeats same dumb question, more poking, and finally a prescription that you
know won't fix your problem. then they want to see you in two weeks to repeat
the same process. Now that is B.S.
They guys in service do try and get the job done right and do it in a reasonable
amount of time. Sure some issues can be a booger and take some time or maybe
a return visit, but so does a medical issue. Do you bitch and complain on the
internet about your doctor? or do you just nod you head and smile at him/her
and trust your life to them? Thought so. So cut the service department some
slack, they have to work on some pretty complex systems that our cars/trucks
have on them. Don't bitch that they take there time to get you satisfied and
happy. They have never done me wrong or many of my friends and family that have
switched to them. They are good at what they do and are honest. The two guys
in parts always get what I want and get it quickly, as expected. Good job. So
in conclusion, the people at BCP Smyrna have treated me very well, and I thank
them for it by being a repeat customer and faithful to the service department.
They earn a 100% mark in my book.
My truck is good, I like it. BCP didn't build it so I cannot blame them for
it's failures just thank them for fixing them.

Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
For valentines day my wife wanted her oil changed and a vehicle checkup. We
took it to the dealership where we bought it and they were just rude and nasty.
We thought some of our fuses were blown b/c our instrument panel did not light
up and the ignorant shop guy mark said that they didn't and when we asked him
to look in another vehicle like it to confirm he made rude comments about us
and about us not believing him. how about taking some pride in your job and
maybe some customer service. you may work on vehicles but that doesn't make
you an expert on every model and what's the harm in checking. then when we went
to pay we were charged 50 dollars like stated but had a coupon to make it just
thirty and he threw a fit saying we should have given him the coupon first b/c
he raised the labor rate when we were paying all cash up front but when we use
a coupon its a problem b/c then he is overpaying his employees. To me that is
complete bull that for repairs they raise their labor rates but when we have
a coupon they harass you. B/c of this I was ready to purchase a new vehicle
but i will go else where and I will NEVER return to this shop again. What a
bunch of shiesty bastards. Do not use this dealership unless you want to be
ripped off or pay more then needed. I deal with shops on a daily basis with
my job and I can recommend 15 shops in the area better then them.

Sales=Poor, Service=Poor, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=No,
Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Yes,
This was by far the most disrespectful degrading and unprofessional experience
that I have ever experienced with a dealership. We purchased a vehicle with
this dealership and at the time of purchase there was a "we owe" form
filled out for some minor body and interior repairs that were to be done to
the vehicle. It was decided that they would be done once the tag and title were
done so that we would not have to make extra trips to the dealership because
we live about 50 miles from them. The repairs were scheduled and we dropped
the vehicle off over the weekend (and the one positive thing was that they did
provide a vehicle to us during the repair period) with the instruction that
it would be done on Monday evening. Monday arrived and during the day we called
our salesman and left a message request a confirmation call that the vehicle
was ready. No returned call. We then called again right before we were going
to walk out the door to go pick our vehicle up and were told our salesman was
gone and that they did not think that our vehicle was done but to let them check
and they would call back. Approximately 20 minutes later we received a return
call from our salesman stating that it was not done and that they just "DIDN'T
KNOW" when it would be. I then asked if I could speak with the service
manager since it was the service dept. that was doing the work and I was told
NO, I am handling this for you. (but he couldn't tell me anything?!?) I asked
if he knew if it was going to be a week a month another day or what and still
the response was "DON'T KNOW". Two days and several phone calls on
my behalf to find out what was going on with the vehicle we were able to pick
the vehicle up and it was supposed to be completed. When we picked up the vehicle
it was not completed in our opinion. We were told at the time of purchase that
since we were driving it off the lot we would get the detailing and the full
tank of gas when we pick up t! he vehicle from having the repairs done. The
vehicle still had all the salt from the previous snow fall on it and the interior
was not cleaned either. The work that was done was to the tailgate, which when
we picked up the vehicle it was missing the decals that were on it when we dropped
it off. (now we are missing things that we had before). Upon calling them about
this, because I had called to complain about the professionalism of their sales
team the response that I was given was "I'll order the decals and have
them sent to you I gotta go good bye" and they sure did hang up on me!
Now this was the second time I was hung up on and this was the Sales MANAGER
that hung up. The last time it was the salesman that hung up and that was because
I asked to speak with his manager. All around rude, unprofessional, and a disgrace
to the Dodge name!
We Love Dodge and the truck! The only thing that we hold against dodge is the
fact that they allow people like this represent them. I take soo much away from
their name.

These guys seem to treat you like you aren't there they ignored me for 6-8 minutes
before they even looked at me. this was after it took them two weeks to work
on my car and before that I had to wait 7 days before they had time to get me
in. I told them what I needed done to my car they then charged me 65.00 for
one diagnosis and threatened me with another to tell me why my car was over
heating. They charged me 700.00 bucks to change my plugs, put gaskets around
a few plugs to stop an oil leak, and clean my throttle body.then they wanted
another 900.00 to change my timing belt and a water pump. I'll admit I might
me a sucker but not a all day sucker.
Let me know of a recourse with these good ole boy's in Smyrna.

After purchasing my 2003 300M from BCP, I returned the vehicle for service on
had such a horrific experience that I refused to use them again. Instead I began
using C. F. Schwartz in Dover, which I highly recommend. However, recently I
was forced to interact with BCP again when my 300M (with only 32,000 miles on
it) broke down in front of the dealership (how ironic!). Turns out the engine
has to be replaced but I had such a horrible experience (AGAIN!) interacting
with the service department that I had the vehicle towed (at my expense) to
C.F. Schwartz for the repairs which will take 1-2 weeks. BCP's sales team was
wonderful but I would not buy from them again because I usually have my car
serviced where I purchase. I am in talks with C.F. Schwartz about buying a toyota
(they are both a Chrysler and Toyota dealer) to replace my 300M which I no longer
trust to transport my young children in.
If you want a dealer who goes the extra mile for their customers, it is not
BCP. Instead, call C.F. Schwartz at 734-5748. (Note: I do NOT work for, nor
am I related to or friends with anyone who works for either BCP or C.F. Schwartz
-- I have no vested interest in either dealership's successes or failures).

I have bought my last 5 cars here.... So I get treated maybe a little bit better
than average. They also know if the deal isn't right i will buy someplace else.
Have bought my last 5 cars from the same salesmen, over a 10 year span. Service
department is Fair, not great, you have to get the right guy working on your
car to get it fixed right the first time. I have bought 2 used cars there in
the past year, both were serviced well before I bought them, new brakes, oil
change, etc. That does speak well of them that they do try to give you a safe
car when you leave the lot. I myself will certainly buy from them again, don't
be afraid to haggle with them, and do your homework before walking in to buy,
know the true value of what your looking at, check NADA and kelly blue book
values of the car your gonna look at.
Good salesmen, know what they are selling. Service department acts like they
doing you a favor sometimes, instead of doing their jobs.

I just recently bought a 2000 Dodge Neon at BCP, the car salesman never gave
me a owner's manual for the car , and he only gave me one key until i kept going
there to bug him. I took my car back there the 2nd day that I had it because
my engine light was on and they told me it was nothing. Then I told them that
my breaks were squeaking they told me because it was wet outside, my warranty
is almost up so I hope everything else goes right with my car!

Both of the two times I took my Dodge Stealth for service here, it came out
with problems it never had before. The first time it was serviced, it came out
with a rattling noise after the starter engaged. The second time I took my car
here, they told me I needed a new clutch and new brakes. Cost plus tune-up:
$1877.48. They also charged me $20 to order a part, and charged me $29.50 to
look at the starter's rattling noise ... even though this was a call-back because
they created the problem ... and for my $29.50 all they did was tell me my exhaust
was noisy! The car came back with the speedometer not working and the brakes
pulsating violently when engaged ... and the dealership even knew about the
speedo problem when they gave it back to me, and would have known about the
brake problem had they test drove the vehicle. Less than 4,000 miles after BCP's
$402.77 brake job, I need new brakes again, and now I have to buy a new speedo
cable, too. In addition, at the next oil change after BCP's "service,"
the technician told me there were metal filings in the oil, and so I had to
have an engine flush. The oil (I've used Mobil 1 exclusively) never before had
any metal in it. I'm writing to DaimlerChrysler about this dealership!

They made it worth my while to buy 300 miles from home!!! Bought two vehicles
from them and happy with both.
We have another car that we were using on a trip to the beach last summer when
the head gasket blew. Service department went the extra mile getting us back
on the road in 26 hrs at a reasonable price, saving the vacation!
This is my way of saying "Thank You." Cris

Service on my '01 2500QC CTD was as promised on my one visit earning and "excellent."
I just ordered an '03 3500QC SRW HO CTD from their sales department. My salesperson,
Rick, was excellent. The only reason the sales department didn't rate an "excellent"
was the apathy of the other salespeople the day I visited on my salesperson's
day off. I was there with checkbook in hand to order my truck, but they told
me I'd have to return when my salesperson was there.

I bought a 1994 Plymouth Sundance that came with a 2 month warranty. I took
it to them 4 times during the warranty period because the care was running hot.
They did NOTHING for it. After the warranty period was up I took it to a different
repair shop where they figured out the problem in less than 5 mins.! I needed
a new radiator - cost $365.00. After the repair work, the car ran fine. AVOID
THEM!!!
