Service replaced a transmission when all it needed was a computer reflash, Customer supplied tsb prior to trans replacement about computer reflash. Dealers test equipment wasn't working properly, and needed a computer software update. To make a long story short, the dealer didn't find out there equipment wasn't up to par until the trans was installed and the same condition was there when i picked the truck up. The dealer then wouldn't accept the fact that they made a costly error and wouldn't work to resolve the issue with the customer.

I am new to the area and found Mitchell Dodge to be a wonderful experience. I was so pleased I am currently looking at the new magnum for my wife. I have purchased many cars and trucks over the years and this by far was the best overall experience. The service department is great as well, real nice people!

I bought a used truck with a warranty, that they said was clean, clean, clean. It last three days before trouble and has been in the service department for about two and a half week for part etc...AHHH

The service department is making up for the slow sells of new vehicles. example: machined brake rotors in front for $350. New rotors are $20 per piece. This goes on and on. These people are thieves and pick pockets. They always have to test the car overnight before returning. Why? so all the service department people can get home. These shop ought to be investigated and shut.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent,
I went looking at the 2002 Dodge Ram at two other dealers before stopping at Mitchell Dodge. I asked a lot of questions at all three dealers in regards to options on the Ram. The first two dealers either did not know the answers or just said not available. Bill Mason at Mitchell's knew the answers to all my questions. I was able to order all the options I wanted. He even informed about a "Farm Bureau" savings bonus of $500 that no one else knew about. They are great. My new truck cooked an oxygen sensor with only 50 miles on the truck. I drove to Mitchell Dodge with the truck and they brought it right in and replaced the sensor in no time flat. Great service. This is my second new truck with them and I have always been happy with the service. I love my new Dodge Ram!

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid,
Every issue requires multiple visits. The straw that broke the camel's back: They overtorqued a hub bolt on the rear end and glued it back in! This was discovered by the next dealership who showed me the yet to be completed removal of the axle. Sure enough, there was gray "glue" holding a sheared bolt. Mitchell naturally denied any involvement. NEVER AGAIN!! 15 Nov 2001

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid,
Service department works on the theory if the computer doesn't store a code, it ain't broke! Every repair was several trips back. They even managed to dent the thing when it was in to have a few scratches they put in it fixed. Unbelievable incompetence.

Dealership Rating:
Good sales department, good service
Fair sales, fair service
Conflicting or not enough information
Poor Service or Poor Sales Department
Avoid like the plague!!
Don't Know or No Experience
