Took truck in for engine light on. It had been on for months since I was working
too far from any dealership. The truck ran great as usual, I just wanted to
know what the light was saying. They told me the PCM (engine computer) was going
to crash anytime soon. I asked what it would start doing and he said that the
brakes, transmission, engine , and everything else hooked up to it will fail
or malfunction. That was many months ago and the light went out a few days after
seeing the dealer. They wanted $600 for the PCM and lord knows how much for
the labor. My truck runs like a champ and I am through taking it to the dealers
anymore. I am soooo sick of crooked service advisors trying to get me to pay
for something that is not broken. The engine dummy light used to come on all
the time when I first bought it and they said to simply make sure the fuel cap
was tight. Now that it has been out of warranty, they try to tag everything.

Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Yes,
We bought our 01 2500slt truck at your Qualcom giant tent sale in March of 03
and for the most part we were pleased. When we went back to buy another truck
"Wild Bill" tried to sell us another 01 2500 truck but for a considerable
amount more than what we paid for almost the same truck. The truck he was trying
to sell us was diesel but was in a lot worse shape "mileage, dents, dings,
modified, etc". The first truck was an 8 cylinder but was in pristine condition.
We ended up leaving your lot in Escondido. We are still looking for another
truck and we would still buy from you however we still want a fair deal. I'm
a fair person but I think I had better luck at your tent sale.
Sincerely, Kellsie Michael mpickled[at]AOL.COM
P.S. we're still looking for a good truck.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Good,
The Sales department was excellent, barely had to fight for the price, got us
out in under an hour. The Service department on the other hand totally depends
on which advisor you get, the first advisor was excellent, the second one I
got was horrible, shuffled me through like a piece of meat and didn't even have
done what I asked!!!!!!!!!
