The guys in the service department are awesome, they do a great job and get it done fast.
Paint is peeling off and after 10 years, the cooling system has a vacuum leak; otherwise, the truck is in great shape.

Sales=Good, Service=Good, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Yes,
Moved to Prescott from Phoenix September 2003 but still work in Phoenix. I have owned a number of Chrysler/Dodge products with mixed satisfaction. Best results have come from Dodge Pickups and Cummins Tubo Diesel. I shop for price using the internet. June of 2004 decided to trade up my 99 Dodge CTD for the 2004.5 CTD 600 Ft. Lbs Torque. I solicited bids from Phoenix dealers and York in Prescott. York's price was $2k better than the next best Phoenix dealer. Sales was low pressure. I had looked up the the Kelly Blue Book trade in value and was offered within $500 of that value. York included in the purchase "package" free oil and filter changes for the first 3 years every 3000 miles.
In November my wife's 98 Jimmy went into the shop (not York) for the umpteenth time and decided to replace. Shopped Chevy, Toyota, Ford and York Dodge for mid-size SUV. Settled on a 2004 Durango Limited with all the options and Hemi engine at a price comparable to base model 2005 Trailblazer.
Again free oil and filter changes.
I had the Pick up in twice for normal service was done when promised and freshly washed. Very satisfied with both the sale and service experience so far.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Poor, Parts=Good, bought there=No, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
On September 19, 2003 I brought my 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 to York Dodge in Prescott, Arizona. I had noticed a squeaky noise coming from the rear bottom of the truck in reverse and forward at low speed. I asked York Dodge to run a diagnostic and suggested that the U-joints were the possible cause. The service advisor Tom Suby and the ?technician? Gary Clifton ignored my suggestion. Three technicians test-drove the truck and every one of them came back with a puzzled look on their face. York Dodge then ran the diagnostic, which took three hours, because the truck sat in the parking lot most of the time. The technician, Mr. Clifton, called me into the service area to tell me that the drive shaft itself was weak and caused that noise. I asked him for an estimate for the replacement of the drive shaft. After consulting the parts department, he told me the cost would be $1,200! Since a custom made drive shaft would cost about $500, I declined the drive shaft replacement. Before I invested the money into a new drive shaft, I decided to take matters into my own hands and took the drive shaft off to take a closer look. I was appalled at what I found. The only thing wrong was the rear U-joint was completely dry. I replaced it and that solved the problem. I went back to York Dodge to show them the old U-joint and explained to them that their diagnosis, that I had paid $39.00 for, had been erroneous. The service advisor, Tom Suby, told me, with an arrogant attitude, that a refund was not justified, since York did nothing wrong. I explained that they charged me for something they did not do. In my opinion, a diagnosis should not just be a test drive. Since it only took me half an hour to remove and remount the drive shaft, the technician should have had ample time to inspect the drive shaft to establish the problem. The service advisor, Tom Suby, advised me to complain to the service manager. However, after the way the service advisor treated me, I refuse to set foot into York Dodge ever again. I had actually planned to purchase a new Dodge truck in the near future, but since York Dodge is the only Dodge dealership in the area, I will be forced to switch to another manufacturer. Furthermore, I feel compelled to warn every one of my friends and customers about York Dodge?s business practices. Perhaps, that will not even be necessary, since York Dodge already has a bad reputation in this area regarding customer service. I only got my money back because the Better Business Bureau took the matter over.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=Yes,
experience=Was quoted $1100.00 to repair an oil leak, check belts and a cursory look over. I got a call saying my clutch needed to be replaced which upped the bid to almost $5,000. I informed them the truck has a new clutch so they said that backs $3,000 out immediately and re-calculated the estimate to be around $1800.00. The final bill was a surprising $2,873 and change. I got a cooling system flush, a fuel filter change, a brake fluid flush, brake service (I asked for a checkup on these as I felt I had a recent brake job.), a valve adjustment and a differential fluid service. All this without asking for them or consultation about whether I wanted the work done. The clock is now set on an incorrect time and the four wheel drive indicator light is on 95% of the time. I plan writing a letter to the company because I don't dare take it back without a black and white understanding on charges. I was looking for whom to write to when I found this site. Be warned.

Posted to the TDRoundtable: If you read my post about my mishap with my front end, you'll see that problem. Just got back from picking my truck up from the DEALER, York Dodge in Prescott, Arizona. Had the front end aligned, and also asked them to check the fuel pressure, as it had been starting hard. Well, got a call back that my truck was ready, and that the FP was giving very odd readings with the most consistent being 5 PSI at idle, so, without even calling and asking me, they replaced it for free! I was all When he told me that, since I have had my Comp on there. It wasn't on the truck while at the dealer, but it was pretty obvious on the pump wire that it had been connected. Anyway, these guys have treated me right twice now, specifically Joe, the service manager. He's a good guy.

Sales=Poor, Service=Good, Didn't want to replace the PS pump 9(squealing/hissing on hard turns) as I had replaced tires with tires 2 sizes larger. said it was too much strain on the pump. Got them to change out the pump. Overall, have been happy with the service department.

Dealership Rating:
Good sales department, good service
Fair sales, fair service
Conflicting or not enough information
Poor Service or Poor Sales Department
Avoid like the plague!!
