The truck was sold to me as a converted US model. To have been converted over to kilometers. However after checking the first tank of fuel for fuel mileage it was obvious that the truck was not converted over in the manner that they said that it was. After having it for a day I returned there to speak to the fellow that sold the truck to me. He was unavailable (at home sick). I went on out of the country for to weeks. I returned and went in the next day. I spoke to Will and was told that I would have a phone call with in three days, it never came. Long story short what I was told by the service department that the check engine light that came on would not hurt anything. How ever a 400.00 fix that I was told it would be, after being in there two possibly three times turned into me actually paying them 2229.24. When I went to complain about it, I talked to the service Manager personally Which seemed to go fine. But when I asked to talk anyone in management over and above the service department he would not discuss the issue with me. This was told to the service manager from the owner personally. The service dept has stepped up somewhat however the business department, and the ownership of the business is totally unaccountable for anything that they do. As a consumer and a fellow vehicle owner, please beware of the business named Jackson Dodge of Medicine AB, Canada.

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid,
Bought 2001 ram 3500 diesel, March 31,2001. Clutch went out at 11,000km, dealer was useless as I had to pay 1200.00 for clutch as they and the Chrysler area service manager (no mechanical background) said the clutch was abused. The work order stated that there was a unusual wear mark on the flywheel side of the disc. I now have 260,000km on the replacement clutch, next I had fuel problems, I gave the service writer the the symptoms along with providing same to the technician (very knowledgeable), the tech said it was probably the lift pump (by the way this was on warranty at the time), they changed the lift pump as the pressure was almost nonexistent. I was charged 70.00 + gst to trouble shoot the problem. To date I have not found another dealer that does this. I also took my wife's 99 dodge diesel to the same dealer for the same fuel problem and again was charged 70.00 + gst for trouble shooting. I will at this time not give my impression of the owner and the service manager as they are soon going to be served with legal papers. If you deal with these guys good luck.
