Sales=Don't Know, Service=Poor, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Yes,
So my experience began at GP subaru north which is a company owned by GP Chrysler,
not bad to deal with, the salesman was good, showed me a dirty smoked out truck
at GP's lot, but he was under the assumption that it was clean as that's what
it said on his lot list, no big d i can deal, so i had my heart set on another
truck, nice big unit. Got it all sorted out, So i drive it for awhile, making
a good clunking when i shift and go over bumps and stuff, take it in, u joints
that were supposed to be fixed were not as well as tie rods, and the steering
shock were shot too, so they get it back together after a few days, should have
taken one but what can u do right. So I put a good 3000 clicks on it in the
first while, notice that tranny was pissing fluid all over the place, no big
d, i take it too GP chrysler to get it fixed you know no big d. well kind of
a big d but yeah, So my wife takes it in, takes over a week and a half to get
it back, no phone calls, I'm ringing them off the hook to figure out what's
going on, no one wants to answer me, so finally i get it back, After harassing
them cause i need to pull my trailer to my wedding. two days to spare i get
it back yay.you should have seen the list of s--t that they said they changed
on the service order And off i go getting it ready to roll, i take it too super
lube like i always do, they tell me my tranny is still pissing fluid woohoo,
so now I'm really pissed, get my oil change done, take it back, the little service
writer guy who i had been dealing with over the phone is there, wooohooo, so
i tear into the kid asking him twenty questions, like what's going on here,
why is my tranny still leaking, he says to me oh the leak could be from anywhere
on the tranny, well i just had this thing in here for a week and a half like
did u just let it sit in the lot or what, he says the earliest he can book me
in is a month from then, I'm like i gotta pull my 13000 pound holiday trailer
what the hell do i do with a leaking tranny, oh just watch the level he says
oh i could have strangled him, and then he says have u seen your tires i wouldn't
pull a trailer with those, yeah the one has a cracked sidewall no big d, there
three ply sidewalls, and that's why i have a spare tire, i cant pull s--t with
a tranny pissing like a horse, so i just walked away before i got mad. So i
went ahead and pulled my trailer, i have never seen a truck covered with so
much tranny fluid before, i think i went through about ohhh 10 quarts of tranny
fluid yay, and barely making it up hills as i cant maintain pressure very well,
woohoo gotta love the service oh yeah that brings me to southside in red deer
but that's a whole way better story, go back to them in a heartbeat but i was
again held up by GP chrysler again, southside repaired my truck wickedly fast,
had parts ready to go within two hours, but the real kicker is that my tranny
case was cracked, like how do u miss that and my guess is they never even looked,
changed the pan gasket and called her good, but southside, had my entire tranny
out, torn apart pretty much replaced the entire thing as well as the case, so
the bill is at 4000, wooo yummy, and there is no way in hell i was gonna pay
for it, so southside said they would call me at noon, they do and they tell
me there waiting on GP chrysler to give the ok on them paying for it, so I'm
like what the hell, i call GP chrysler and finally get the manager on the phone,
he tells me his head tech is looking into it, and I'm like nope you just call
southside and give them a po or your credit card cause my truck is leaving the
place like now. go pick up my truck, purrs like a kitten and ready to rock,
pulled my trailer like a fiend ohhh yeah in the end GP Chrysler - Million, southside
a big two thumbs up in my book. GP chrysler's service department is absolute
crap

Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
I would never ever ever buy from GP Chrysler again! Fool me once shame on you
fool me twice shame on me!! The salesmen in this dealership are so eager to
screw you over. We bought a 04 Dodge 1500 and didn't find out until today that
we paid $51,000 for a vehicle worth about $25,000! No where on our paperwork
did it say anything about this.. It took another dealership looking up what
we had left to pay to find this out! We will definitely be raising some hell
about this as we like to have dinner and get kissed before we get.. you know!

Sales=Fair, Service=Poor, Parts=Poor, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Yes,
FIRST...they sell us a truck that is a piece of CRAP!!! There were 3 or 4 things
that were slated to be fixed on it and they sold it to us, let us pick it up
and take it off the lot, and then that night it DIED!! When we brought it back
they were like "Oh the heating vents have to be fixed, the starter, and
a few other things....they said it was supposed to have been done...but I guess
it never was. My husband uses his truck for work, and so now we sit and wait,
and 2 weeks they had his truck. They gave him back his old one so that was good...
Next service incident...My husband was up in Ft Nelson (middle of no where)
and again the truck quits, so he gets it into a mechanic in town and he discovers
it is the fuel pump..somthing that seems to be a problem for this year of Truck.
He explains that it should be covered under warranty and he will get in touch
with our dealership and get some forms filled out and parts and what not. Now
on one hand I do believe that my husband over reacted, however when someone
bold face LIES to you, it is tough to keep your cool!!!
The mechanic was told that the parts would be shipped up on Friday (the monday
was a holiday in ALBERTA) Monday came in BC and there were no parts. My husband
was stranded, and when he called GP chrysler, the lady said it was the Mechanics
fault because he never faxed the papers....They then said that the papers never
got to them until SUNDAY 11P... So I called Fort St JOhn, and had a part up
to him within 6 HOURS!!!! IT took GP 6 DAYS... The one good thing is they agreed
to pay for the part when we brought the receipt in BUT!!!! and here is the kicker...when
my husband was in the office he noticed the fax from the mechanic on the ladies
desk TIME STAMPED THURSDAY NIGHT!!!!!! BOLD FACE LIE... He used some very choice
words, and was asked to take his cheque and leave...which by that time he was
absolutely in hysterics..
The thing that gets me the most...Over 6 months later, he has another problem...we
bring the vehicle to them, get it all signed in, and they tell us they will
call us...2 days that truck sat..no phone call, so the hubby calls to see what
is up...the manager says that "we are not going to work on
your truck because of the last time. Unless you can promise us that it won't
happen again" Troy looked at him, was very calm, and said "You have
had my truck for 2 days, 2 days that I have not been able to work, and I have
to call you to find out that you are not going to work on it" The guys
says "YES" so speechless he says okay, and hung up...picked up his
truck and took it to Norlan..
No fighting because obviously where you scream, yell, or smile and nod, they
don't give a sh**!!!
I have a leased Magnum, and if there was anyway that I could get out of it JUST
to switch dealerships I would.
I am not the First in GP that has had issues with your Service department, and
I am sure it won't be the last..

Sales=Fair, Service=Poor, Parts=Poor,
I bought my 4th dodge here as Nor Lan now has little ignorant punks working
there. They gave me a good deal on my new truck, but when I went back 2 weeks
later, I seen they were selling my trade (02 2500) for 10000 more than they
gave me, mabey I did not get such a good deal after all--but hey, I signed right!?!
However I went for service, and they made me wait 2 days to even hit the shop,
after my "scheduled app" Then they ordered wrong parts, and I had
to re-book. Then the one guy said after I complained, "you did not buy
here so.." Hello, who does your books??? And, even if I did not, terrible
customer service, and this is a 5 star dealer?? Maybe Chrysler should relook
at their stats for this, as both these GP dealers say 5 star--I give them 1
star, if they are lucky. I now go to BC and get much better service!!

Phoned them from FSJ they told me they would beat the local dealers cost, but
when I got there, they had all kinds of hidden costs, charged me for a warranty
transfer, I later found out was free!! Read the find print with these guys!!
