Service department is useless - and when you have an issue there is no where to take it - their service manager won't even return messages I've left with both his service advisors and on his voicemail. Avoid this place unless you want to deal with total frustration and a 'screw you'
attitude.

2006 Dodge 4x4 - bought in the summer but now when turn the wheels anymore than 1/2 turn - the front end binds up. Had Airdrie Dodge check it out in the summer - told me that was normal on dry roads. I understand turning the wheels to the extreme and solid front end axle geometry - but
not when only turning 1/2 turn. Took it back in Nov when ice on the roads - binds up so bad when turn from one street to another it skips across the ice. Told this was normal - when I objected they did get a mechanic? (really believe it was the janitor) - to go for a ride - who slept through the
test drive cause he wasn't interested in the problem at all. Again told - and in writing - that this was normal. Have tried multiple times to contact the service manager 'Steve' - who will NEVER return a message. When called to see if someone would take it for a drive now we have severe winter
conditions - again told 'make an appointment - you still have to pay for testing" - why, you've already acknowledged the problem - why would I have to pay for yet another service appointment to prove it? Would take a 15 second test drive in the parking lot. Service reps are rude and just don't
care if you have a problem - I really came into your dealership to complain about nothing cause I have nothing else to do in life. Then send a guy out to do a test drive who just really wanted to get back to his mop and bucket. Then can't get anyone to go for a test drive when it is icy. Can't get
the service manager to even return a phone call. The service department is the worst case I've service I've ever experienced with any industry.
I live in Airdrie and try to keep my business local - but when you deal with people who just don't give a crap about their customers, and don't care they are perceived that way - we are forced to look elsewhere. The lack of pride in their business and no care attitude about their customers I would highly discourage anyone I know from ever dealing there.

We were asked to put a deposit down on a 2006 van, we went home and thought about this. We phoned later that day and put $2000.00,down,. We asked our salesperson if we will get the money back if something doesn't work out, she assured us we would. However when phoned her 2 days later and told her that we got another van instead she told us our deposit will not be returned. I did not sign any paper saying the van was ours. The manager also said we will not get our money back because will already bought another vehicle!!
DON'T EVER PUT A DEPOSIT DOWN.
we will be taking them to court and we have already filed with the BBB and AMVIC.

When my lift pump and injection pump crapped out (well known problem with this truck), I took it to another dealer because they were the closest, as is required by the Roadside Assistance program. They would not fix it under warranty and suggested I was negligent for not changing fuel filters often enough. I couldn't prove I did because I didn't save all my receipts. I then replaced the LP myself and drove to Airdrie, explained the problem and they had me back on the road the next day with a new VP44. Cost to me was $0. The service guy was professional and courteous and the work was done right the first time. This is the second truck I bought here and they will have a good shot at selling me my third one when the time comes.

I took my Jeep to Airdrie Chrysler for a bad MAP sensor that decided to act up over Christmas..leaving me vehicle less during the Christmas holidays. I was given a loaner car to drive because I was a good customer which was nice. I decided to clean the loaner because it had a bunch of hay and whatnot in it from the last customer. I picked my Jeep up only to find the windshield had been broken and the console scratched. I brought the asst service manager out to show him and he said all would be taken care of, BUT when the service manager got a hold of it, he refused to pay for the repairs. I even went to the owner to no avail...I was told they are not responsible for damage to vehicles left in their care. Nice Christmas present that was!!! And I even cleaned their loaner so nicely. The service manager is now at Cochrane Dodge...because of his decision, I purchased my extended warranty elsewhere AND my mother decided to buy her car elsewhere. Up until then! , I was very happy with their service and had sent many folks there. My Jeep is at the end of it's lease in a few months and I will not be buying another one because of situations like this where dealers won't stand up to the plate.
This site is a good idea for folks to share their experiences...I only wish I had found it closer to the date of my issue. Overall, my vehicle has been good to me and if it wasn't for Chrysler's lack of customer support, I would be buying a 2007...I think I will just keep what I have or buy a Toyota Tacoma...I haven't decided yet.

I live in Calgary and drive a Dodge Caravan. I needed to have a transmission oil leak taken care of. I took it to Crowfoot Dodge in Calgary but got very bad vibes from the service dept there. I decided not to risk going to Crowfoot due to so many horror stories I have heard about them....So I booked my Caravan in with Airdrie Dodge Dealership and drove out there to have it serviced. The service guys were really great to deal with and I felt they were being honest with me at all times.
They did a great job of fixing my transmission and I felt at all times that they were acting in my best interests. The people were nice to deal with and treated me like a human being. When I need to purchase a new vehicle I will make the trip out to Airdrie just to deal with these folks. They left me with a great impression and the service manager is honest and fair.
I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. Even if you live in N.W Calgary it is worth the trip out to Airdrie just to have the peace of mind you might not get from a local dealer.....

I recently had my 1997 Dodge Caravan serviced in Airdrie. After owning it for 4 years, it was starting to have a lot of little problems. The fuel mileage was getting poor so I sent it in for a tune up. They did find several things wrong with it and it cost me a lot more money than I anticipated spending but was well worth it. The service department kept in touch with me and didn't fix anything without my approval. We got the van back and the motor was shampooed and it looked and ran like new again. These guys were prompt, polite and kept me well informed and would be more than willing to take it back there again. Good work guys!!!

Very good dealership to deal with. Sales dept. treats you as a person, and was exceptional when dealing with my daughter for a new vehicle. Service dept. is true and honest,seems to really appreciates the customer, we feel we are actually a person, not a number. Techs are very consistent on fixing my vehicle on the first time. I would recommend anyone to Airdrie Chrysler for all your vehicle needs. Keep up the great job!

My dealings were with the shop foreman and the assistant service manager. Both worked directly with me and were able to correct an on going problem that other dealers in the area had not been able to locate and correct. Very honest and answered all questions. Definitely went the extra mile.
